    tlambertsen:

I could add a new command "Ignore Input (Yes/No)" that you could put at the top of your macro, would that do what you want?

    everyone else:

The new version is being held up because I can't get recent MediaPortal SVN's to install on my PC. Therefore I can't do my own testing.

I may just release the next preview version anyway ... I'll just try finish one last thing before I do...

    Cheers,

    Hi Aaron.
Thank you for your hard work on IR -server.

I previously asked you to add the Hauppauge remote to the suite, but until now I have been staying away, because I had an almost perfect system. But I get too many wrong recordings lately (The Sat receiver tunes to a wrong channel). So now I am ready to try.
Before I start I just want to make sure; I will be able to use the IR-server suite together with Mediaportal 1, with its build-in TV-engine (Not the TV-server/client stuff)??
    Thanks
    Steen

That's right, it works with both the normal MP and the TV Server.

A strange remote problem. First of all: IR server suite is really cool, it helped me tremendously to get remote control.
But: when I run Input service configuration and after that mediaportal everything works ok, but when the system goes into sleep (S3) and resumes thanks to pvr-scheduler, then every push on a button on the remote results in two reactions in Mediaportal: two jumps in menus, etc.. I even remarked that after a second standby/resume cycle one push on a remote button gave three reactions in Mediaportal. There is a way to solve this: start Input service configuration (and I think especially the 'Input service will now be restarted' after closing does the trick) and verything works ok ... until the next standby/resume cycle). So it looks something is building up every time the system goes into standby and resumes. Any ideas?
I'm using a homebrew serial receiver on COM1, and winlirc to drive the thing.

    Many thanks in advance!

Yep, that's a known problem with my WinLirc interface ... it should be fixed in the next version ... Which I'm about to post now ...

1.0.4.2 Preview 6 is now available on the first post.

The installer has been re-written by ChefKoch, so let me know how it goes.

If this preview works as expected it will go to final 1.0.4.2.

If you're interested check out the Abstract Remote mode in the service configuration ... I'll talk more about that later ...

    Cheers,

yeah, I have been wondering about the abstract remote.

I only just started experimenting with this suite a few days ago and I'm very impressed :)

On thing I have though is an X-box 360 remote. I want to use it for MP and everything works well except the OK and Arrow keys, which don't even work in Windows (unlike the way the standard MCE arrows do).
I have used translator to get them working, but I was wondering if there is a way to add native support?
I have selected the Xbox remote in the set up, but I think the 360 one is different. If you can add the remote, would you need the codes for those buttons from when I learn in translator? What are your thoughts? Maybe translator is the best way to go?

I have also noticed that the translator doesn't seem to work after hibernating, but I haven't had a lot of time to test this, so can't say for sure. I'll do some more testing over the weekend.

    Cheers,
    Marcus.

Latest version you sent me is great, the only real bug I found is file..open and file..import still does nothing when importing an abstract application definition (meedio.xml). I was trying to make the default system configuration = meedio. I did it by hand in notepad in the end.

Also, I've added IRSS into Bluepill ( MeediOS :: View topic - Project Bluepill: The autoupdating selfconfiguring HTPC ). Thanks again! Oh, I couldn't manage to install it silently.. I had to repackage it. 7zip can't extract 100% of the files in the installer exe. A silent switch would be appriciated, or a .zip/.msi distro. I don't mind installing the MP plugins even if they're not needed.
