First I must say a thank you for bring this great remote suite!

I experienced the same MCE issue with newly-installed Windows 7 x64, however the updated MCE plugin v2/v3 fixed the issue, good job guys!

So I am just report a small issue and it seems not reported yet.

The "Start/Stop" button in IRSS Configuration behave strangely. When I click it for the first time, nothing happens. Then I click it for the second time, the icon changed from "Stop" to "Start", then changed back to "Stop" automatically, so I can't stop the service in the interface and I need to stop it in Windows Services MMC snap-in.

    New build 3026 released.

Please remember to make a copy of your IRSS directorys ( under program files and configuration data ) and to keep a copy of the old build just in case something goes wrong for you ;)

I was sure about the issue (a tester reported it) but then a user reported it to be working for him so I though to give it a try "in the wild".

My commit log entry says "Rework of MCE transceiver struct to fit both x86 and x64 systems (part I)" :p

Hey chemelli just thought I would log these down now as they are fresh.. Getting pretty late over here in kiwi land...

1... The back key on my MCERemote seems to be "DEL" rather than "ESC" as it has been in the past. I'm running MCE mode via IMON HID interface.. I also have to remove the "UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, OK" buttons from the abstract remote layer as to not have double up of keys while inside MediaPortal.

2... IRSS needs to be re-initialized when entering and closing MediaPortal. I use to have IRSS freeze as I exited MP, now it freezes when I enter...

Will provide more detail tomorrow if required... Gotta sleep :D

    Hi,
I need help! :-( I have been using mediaportal on my XP 32bit PC for AGES!!! But it was slow so I upgraded to a nice new 64bit PC with 6GB of RAM and installed WinXP 64bit and after a few hours of trying managed to convince MP to install even though it didn't want to! LOL THEN I couldn't get IR Server Suite working as there are no WinXP 64bit drivers for it THEN I fixed that with some drivers of the net from win2003 but MP kept crashing!!!!

Anyway I just gave in and installed Vista 64Bit but can't get IR Server Suite working again! :-(
I could use the controls in MP when I first installed MP it worked but I couldn't turn my TV on and off or open and close MP so I installed IR Server Suite 1.4.2.3018 and deleted the reg entrys to stop windows hogging the controls and couldn't get anything to work even int he debuger.
In the debugger it connects to the server fine and when I click learn it goes to learn mode thing but doesn't pick up my remote clicks... :-( Then learn mode times out...

I then tried installing the older version I was using in XP 64bit (V 1.4.2.2627) and got somewhere ish.. I could then get it to work with Translator as long as I used the .ir file for my tv's power that I made in WinXP 64bit but in MP it wouldn't do anything again... But this time in the debug program after it times out it then picks up the button clicks!?

ANYWAY I then tried the newest version today (v1.4.2.3026) and NOTHING!!! :-( Well I did notice that in MP the back button works and the mute and a few other buttons the the coloured buttons make a noise but they still work even if I disable the IR MP plugin in MP Config program...

Anyway I have tried everything I can and zipped up all the log files from my last try with version 1.4.2.3026 from the directory C:\ProgramData\IR Server Suite\Logs and attached them. My setup is:

    Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit
    Intel Core 2 Duo 6600
    6GB RAM
1.5-2TB of HDD space over 2 arrays
    A official M$ eHome remote reciver/transmiter thing with a M$ RC6 remote Model: 1093
    IR Server Suite V1.4.2.3026

    Please HELP!!!

Sorry if I missed something just ask and I will get it for you.

    :D in advance!:D

    Zas
