Well, mine 1.7.1 is not so stable as I had with 1.5.0
It is hanging quite often wich I didn't had with 1.5.0.
I have no time for logs, but I just wanted to say you are not the only one.
But maybe it is our location
EDIT:
I say 1.7.1 is not stable, but that might not be realy true. It can be caused by one of the many plugins I use. Maybe one of them is getting unstable in the new 1.7.1 environment and makes MP crash or hang.

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).
