I think I found the answer: the knc api dll depends on vc2008 runtime. download it here and install it: Downloaddetails: Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

MediaPortal installation for KNC One TV-Station DVB-C Plus + CineView support

Hello,

I want to use a KNC One TV-Station DVB-C Plus + CineView with MediaPortal and therefore tracked this thread / development. Despite several tries of here mentioned svn nightly builds... I wasn't able to get my CineView module running so far.

However I want to thank everybody for the terrific support of the MediaPortal software.

Due to me not having Visual C or any other compiler nor having enough experience in re-compiling the MediaPortal's source-code with some certain diff-files I'd appreciate if somebody could send me some binary installation files or refer me to an according download directory.

please post your logfiles (specially the tvserver ones).

check this:
- install vc runtime (see above) https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-not-recognized-20063/index18.html#post377467
- enable CAM in tvserver config, set limit (i.e. to 4 channels)
- try the latest svn you can find here: [untested] MediaPortal and TV-Server 1.0 svn-builds - MediaPortal Forum
- or try disaster123's build (see below)
