KNC ONE TV-Station CI/CAM not recognized (2 Viewers)

As many KNC1 users are watching this thread, I'd like to share some good news with you:

I just did some more stress testing to CI handling. Works really good now. Channel switching is ok and I could record / timeshift 6 (!) channels simultanously (of course they are on the same transponder, see screenshots)

I'm using a TechniCrypt CX modul for watching Primacom's Conax encrypted BASIS1 package.

Comparing to my Technotrend cards in my HTPC I feel the KNC1 more stable and faster.

What kind of SVN and how to install your dll´s so that I´m able to test (have fun), too?

just be patient a bit. all code is in svn so you get an setup as soon as the next build is published...

after that I'll remove all files to avoid confusions

Nice work morpheus_xx, looking forward to the next SVN test build realease. Hopefully, it will be released soon.

CI menu feature looks nice always good to know things are working ok with the card. Especially an update function for the Alphacrypt firmware would be nice, if that would be possible.

yeah, this function is possible and already working. thanks to KayDiefenthal we could test this. he did a cam software update using tvserver an ci menu plugin

I installed MP completly with the new SVN, but I have the same error -> Channel is scrambled.

ok found this line in tswriter.log:

12-02-2009 19:56:12.412 KNC unable to load KNCBDACTRL.dll:14001

so please check if the file is present in tvserver directory and access permissions are properly. sometimes vista does some weird things with the handling of "previous versions" of files. there was a forum topic about wrong version numbers that were caused by this feature....

The file exist and the perms are all ok. no previous versions are listed. the version number is 1.2.1208.0

New installation with XPSP3 and the same error.

please help. I want to use MP ;-(
