Everything is there to handle group stuff but currently there is no webservice to query which groups a user belongs too

I've planned some music settings screen inside of MP which would allow changing viz, etc too. I guess it would be best to manage groups, tags, etc there.

I use winmap as external music player and has set MP to internal music player, everything else THAN the last.fm plugin works, I have enabled it logged in etc... why? now I have reinstalled the hole system, but it doesnt work...

Last.fm uses special crafted http streams therefore MP's player factory uses BASS only and does not consider external players it cannot know the capatibilities of.

I'm really enjoying this plugin, but there are a few idiosyncrasies that's driving me crazy...

First, it seems I have to restart MediaPortal for the plugin to pick up new tags I've made on the web site. Would it be possible to add a "refresh" button on the main last.fm screen?

Second..... does marking songs with either Love or Ban have any affect on the music recommendations (or is this rather a last.fm question, not a plug-in question)? Example.. I've been playing an 80s tag, and it seemed to very "alternative pop" oriented, not mainstream 80s hits oriented... I kept trying to ban many of these tunes, but no matter what I do now, it insists on playing crap like The Cure.....

I've also noticed a few times when I switch between tags it does not always want to pick up and play music from the new tag. Example... I was playing a "Norwegian" tag, then stopped the music and switched to a "Power Metal" tag (yes I know, my music taste varies widely), however, I had to stop and start the stream 3 times before it started to play Power Metal music, it kept insisting on playing Norwegian music instead....

The recommendation radio has its own settings on the last.fm dashboard site. E.g. recommendations of which groups or people should be considered as well as a popularity slider.

Example.. I've been playing an 80s tag, and it seemed to ... insists on playing crap like The Cure.....

Sorry there not my taste either but in europe "The Cure" are one of THE 80s bands... (Banning should help not to get that track in your personal radio again)

I've also seen that with their own client - looks like they build an own internal radio playlist, too. I didn't restart MP then - skipping 2 or 3 tracks was always fine for me.

Lyrics via script in Last.fm

First of all, great work RTV. Now MP is really a mediaportal thanks to your great plugin.

When surfing on the web i found a little script to have the lyrics automaticly visualised with Last.fm

Could come in handy for your plugin. Only a suggestion. No hurry 4 me.

Adds a little note icon to the left of the artists and such on the user pages.

This note links to the search function on songmeanings.net, where it either takes you direct to the lyric, or in the case of multiple results, a page of them.

last.fm not work in latest SVN

HI,

One week a go I m start using Last.FM plugin without any experiences with this piece of software.

Its great but I had some problem with first using of plugin in MP. I used xmas 2006 plugin and when I wanted try to play Mediaportal Radio or Recomended Radio I get only message with "No stream active - Playback of sel......". So I switched skin to the default Blue2 and everything was fine and working. Based on this experience I copied radioLastFM.xml file from Blue2 Skin to the XMAS skin and it was working.

So 3 days ago I reverted back to the B2 skin from XMAS and also upgrade my MP with latest SVN and Last.FM plugin seems to not working. I have the same error message like before.

Help please.
