Re: problem with external display plug setup

I am trying to get the iMON VFD to work on my silverstone case... but whenever I try to enable the external display plugin and go to the setup, it crashes. I get an error message saying "unhandled exception" and " Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" then a huge dialog box about "just in time debugging" and stuff.

Any suggestions?

Update to latest CVS!

new problem

Thanks for the help, downloading the newest version helped. Now I am having another problem.

When I shut down MediaPortal, the VFD displays whatever was on the screen... even after I turn off the PC! Is there a way to make sure MediaPortal goes to a blank screen when you shut it down?

soundgraph is enabled

Yes... I have two separate plugins when I go to the setup program... both are set as Soundgraph v 1.0. Should there be two separate plugins? They look different when I pull them up, both have different settings.

Hello,

I'm using the external display plugin with the Logitech Dinovo Mediapad. When I wake up the computer from standby, the Display does not show the Mediaportals messages until I restart mp. Is there anything I can do to get the display refreshed without restarting mp?

Hi,

I'm using Shuttle SB83G5M with a built-in VFD, the tools provided by the manufacturer isn't up to my expectations. But later I found your great plugins, but I don't know how to select the correct VFD.

Could you please tell me which model to select or how can I check which one I'm having ?

Please help... :D

I found the chip inside the VFD, it says "PT6314-002". Then when I search the website for more info the VFD is manufactured by "Princeton Technology Corporation", a Taiwan company.

I went to their website but sadly it doesn't have any drivers or utility for download.

Please Help...
