so, anybody about my questions above?

maybe add the ability to load the plugin more than once (with different configs of course) and/or ability to relay the same info in both screens?

esp. the second must be simple to implement (and would need less checking)

i have a hush e4 system (http://www.hushtechnologies.com) with integrated display.

i tried all available drivers from the plugin but don't get an output.

is there a way to read out the lcd-chip information with a tool?

i bought the VL Systems M-Play Blast and try to use it with Mp but it doesn not work. hmm it should be compatible with HD44780 but i don´t know how to set it up. i try the pluginb but the display does not work with it. with the media software which was in the package, the vfd works ok.

can you help me setting it up in MP?

My gues is that you should increes the "Communications Delay" in the setup.

Question:
The actual LCD driver ( the dll)... is it possible to make that in another programming language and get it to work? The reason I ask is becuase I've custom built a LCD display, parallell-port driven. It differs slightly in how to send the data to it.

(I havn't got acccess to VS2005, that's why i am asking)

yes i tried everything (delay 50 / 100 ....) nothing happens , i can only see the standard message "Mplay ....". i´ve used Joe´s driver for hd44780. the other hd 44780 are disabled ... (why?)

somebody else with some ideas?

hi,

i found some information about the chip used in my system.

it's a ft232bl from ftdi.

it seems to be well documented (http://ftdichip.com/Documents/DataSheets/ds232bl18.pdf and more documents on http://www.ftdichip.com/) but anyhow it won't work with the provided drivers in the plugin.

the only driver that gives some output is the crystalfont driver. unfortuneately it's just garbage. i tried to adjust the delay settings without success.

any one has an idea how to get this chip working?

any help is appreciated!

This plugin doesn't work on my graphic LCD 240 x 64 t6963c based controller.
Even if I set it correctly in setup MP it don't display ANYTHING!
I modified delay, backlight, everything but nothing to do..... it doen't work.
There's someone that can help me (someone like who make this plugin.....) to configure it and understand how it works!?!??!?

AFAIK graphical displays are not suported yet (atleast not he graphical mode of them).

It seems that the display in the pdf you posted uses a controller caled LC7981 and I don't see it from the suported list.

The good news is that I sent JoeDalton a T6963c based display a few monts ago so that he could work on getting graphical displays working in this plugin.

The bad news is that there has not been a word from JoeDalton in ower a month now . I hope nothing serious has hapened.
