Lightpack help! (6 Viewers)

Hello @Rick164 So I have testet with the latest experimental version and lightpack/ambibox... It shows colors at startup of a movie, then dims them down for a few seconds and then no more lights after that. When i try to restart another video then it´s just black or no lights....

New version attached, reverted a few things but left in firstConnectionPass for initial AmbiBox commands so let's see if this works better

Hey Again ... there was no change from the privious version.. The light just died out in a couple of seconds and never came back on ..[DOUBLEPOST=1432324360][/DOUBLEPOST]It looks like this:

That's odd as this is the way the Kodi plugin does it so not sure what's is going on
Will do some more digging

The commands (api) of AmbiBox and the live picture stuff are generally 2 completely different things that don't have anything to do with each other. You can use the api without live pictures as well as send live pictures without even having implemented the api.

So i just tried 1.16.1.15 and it was actually really good, no flicker what so ever . but when you finish the first thing you play, then light never comes back on ...

Good to hear , so we're partly doing the same thing as before except re-using the stream like Kodi does.

We do send the commands for aspect ratio and such on every frame which shouldn't be needed however leaving them out broke everything before so not sure yet why that works with Kodi but not with our code, will look into that next week.
In the meantime gonna see if we can add something that resets the stream on new playback better like it does now as obviously needs to stay working

@Lightning303 will push to the branch once it's a bit cleaned up tonight so you can see the changes as well.

Hello again... Have you had time to look at the connection problem with ambibox?
