I just tested v12, still the same problem I described in post #79. Same with 'tsreader_zappingrebuildmod1b_svn28068.zip'. No problem with the TsReader.ax from 1.2.0 RC.

OK, thanks - that seems to narrow it down to the 'zapping rebuild mod' then (because the 1.2.0RC version has the other mods included).

That could be the black flashing screen i am seeing too when starting tv.

Hanging TV again (audio continuing), not recovering for 15min or so, -15s does the trick. I shall switch codecs away from ffdshow to see if it's getting better.

Just discovered that the black screen flashing when starting TV happens with the dshowhelper 'part_DWM' versions (it doesn't happen for me with the 'no_DWM' versions, or the 1.2.0RC dshowhelper).

Which FFDShow decoder are you using for H.264 ?

I'd really like to see the logs when it happens, if possible.

I can confirm your explenation that black screen is gone with the "no_DWM" version, but you recommended that DWM version to me
I'm using ffdshow included in SAF 5.02 and from changelog i see "FFDShow updated to rev.3775" as last ffdshow entry.
What version are you using?

Is it FFDShow DXVA decoder (the dshowhelper render stats screen or evr.log will tell which filters are in the graph) ?

I hadn't noticed the 'black flash' feature because I always go to the guide and start TV from there.....

Correct, it is the FFDShow DXVA decoder which is used. I installed the latest ffdshow version from 25/08/2011.
I'll see if TV picture freezes again now.

Thnx for your nice TSReader so i can use for my first time coravc and LAV as Videodecoder. But i have found one big problem. If i prefer AC3(TV) in the settings and i switch from a channel with only mpeg audio to an channel with mpeg and AC3 audio i get a black screen (Example German Channels WDR to Das Erste). If i disable prefereAC3 than the channel change works. With the orig. TSReader i dont have this problem. I hope you can help.

Ah, interesting, that could exactly be the problem I reported earlier. So it might not be SD to HD, but has to do with audio...
