    Hi Tony,

For some reason I have major problems tuning BBC One HD with this patch. All other channels seem ok

About 40% of the time it will take ages for the picture to start. After a long startup there's usually no sound as well. I'll try and get logs later.

Ps tried with version 7, 10 and 11 - all the same

I can confirm this problem.. It was working fine, but then tonight all of a sudden, trying to tune to BBC One HD resulted in a hang.. Going into task manager Mediaportal is still running fine, but it's not responsive.

I've gone back to original tsreader for now.

I need logs from someone.....otherwise problems can't be fixed.....

    Tony

In the meantime, can someone with the BBC One HD 'hang' problems try the 'tsreader_zappingrebuildmod1b_svn28068.zip' attached here - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/764396-post139.html - I need to know if it's the earlier mods or the recent 'no stop' mods creating the problem....

(I have BBC One HD, but on Freeview DVB-T2, not satellite, and it works fine so far....)

    Hi,

I tried to use v11 on top of 1.2.0 RC (also using dshowhelper v0089a) and I'm getting a blank black screen when changing from an SD TV channel to an HD TV channel. Medialportal hangs then, I need to kill Mediaportal.exe. I'm using LAV Video Codec for SD TV and MS Codec for HD TV. Logs attached.

With the TsReader from 1.2.0 RC I don't have this problem.

It might be also a codec problem, but because it works with the TsReader from the RC, it might also be an issue with the fix.

    Hi Stefan,

From your logs (thanks :)), I can see MP is stopping the filter graph to rebuild it (because the video format/size has changed) but it doesn't start again afterwards (even though MP has told it to 'run' after the rebuild).....

All I can think of is that the 'run' command to the filter graph is failing for some reason

Please try the attached TsReader.ax - this one allows through more 'late' video samples than v11, just in case that's causing the startup problems....

Ok Tony, i'll try and test this version too. Since 1.2.0RC i have seen two times that live tv freezes. All ffdshow codecs for TV. What i see is that audio continues then and video freezes. Can anybody relate to this?

With the last version (nostopmod12) i also see that within livetv (small screen) screen that if a select a channel the screen goes black, and after a second it disapears and liveTV is on. And then it works normaly. But the flashing black screen is strange behaviour.

Is this on channel changes, or when watching TV ?

Just while watching TV, never seen this behaviour before. Freezing audio+video and then -15s or +30s in the past was normal.
Please notice my edited last message about the black flashing screen.

TV is on here and my wife just said it happened again just now.

    I also had a a crash/freeze on channel change with v11.
I had no time to grab logs, was following a movie.

Can you compile a version without the ffdshow stuff?, I guess this is the cause.

Does it recover from the freezes, or do you have to skip back to fix it ?

Is this with SD MPEG2 or HD H.264 ?

Tony, i have seen it all on HD H.264 and it does not recover, or at least i didn't wait long enough? How long do i have to wait? We have waited for about 10-15 seconds i guess.
