I think it's the audio graph rebuilding going wrong too, so attached is TsReader.ax with (hopefully) that problem fixed.....

I don't have access to live TV with multiple audio streams/languages, so I can't check easily if the mod really works or not.

I'd like some logs using the new version from someone (e.g. dyamant/sukceso) with multiple audio streams/languages available, so I can see if it's working properly (or not) on channel changes.

I've also removed FFDShow DXVA from the 'special handling' code used for FFDShow Video Decoder, in the hope that it might fix the freezing-during-play problem wouter1971 was getting.

I'll be on vacation for the next 10 days, so there's plenty of testing time :)

Tony, thanks man! Have a nice vacation! I can read that vacation line in two ways b.t.w. I could read that you have vacation and so 10 days to test and develop :)

I have nailed the freezing down to certain moments in i.e. a playback of a recording. Just this morning i saw it too and i can reproduce by stepping back 15s and it freezes everytime at the same moment. A new version of ffdshow did not help. I will test the new version and let you know. I think a developer cannot live without internet so....also on vacation you can read it :)

If you have logs for the freezing I'd still like to see them, even if the new version fixes it.

And yes, I'm taking the netbook with me on vacation for web browsing :)

For me the fix seems to work, I have not seen my blank black screen problem in a first test. Here are my logs. Thanks Tony for all your support and enjoy your vacation.

Good :) - dyamant is using RTSP streaming and it behaves differently compared to reading a local file (it's getting stuck in a loop, probably because it's not reading enough data before it does the audio graph rebuilding....) :(

Tony, i'm closer now. Found out that it's an signal/stream interuption from which it cannot recover.
I tested with last tsreader and selected as 264 decoder:

ffdshow DXVA Decoder => freeze, audio continues
ffdshow Video Decoder => total Mediaportal crash, windows crash message, audio continues
Cyberlink Video Decoder PDVD10 => continues but image totaly distorted
Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder => continues, slightly distorted for a split second but continues clean and nice.

    What should i do? :)

Sukceso what you are using for streaming. Have you a single seat installation ?

Hmmm i use RTSP Streaming ??? I dont have enable it ? Any Idea why it is on on my system ?

You have a separate MP client/TV server setup - MP normally uses the RTSP protocol over your network for TV server -> client TV viewing.

The problem is that the mods I've done to the graph re-building code don't seem to work properly in this situation, so I need to try and work out why....
