I would like an animation in middle of the screen while the app is working, for example while opening My Videos from the main screen. Just like in MCE 05. If not, the application feels slow and heavy.
It seems logical that if there was a simple way to reduce loading times then that would be already implemented.
Until that time, something as simple as an hourglass or a "working" icon would greatly help.
While it would be better to decrease loading times as to not need a loading time indicator, good UI design dictates that it's better to show the user what's going on with the program (Status) at all times. Since you can't guarantee that MP will always run on fast pc's that will load fast, a loading time indicator would be a really nice feature on all places that there is a delay
Or even a small status indicator on some corner of the screen
That screen is generated by the file "MyVideo.xml", but it uses various other files too.
When the list on the right is a list of episodes, the area in the middle contains the programme information for the episode that has the focus.

Hi
This is a general question about OnX.
I have been using the TvWishList plugin for a while and have recently updated (update install) from MP 1.36 x86 to 1.37 x86 and found there seemed to be no Onx menu in the TV guide. I then configured the onx.presets.xml file like I would normally do with updates or fresh installs, but still...

Now with Version 1.37 x64 MP is near to perfect with repect to speed, robustness and funtionality. There is just one point where I have an Idea for further improvement. As I am not too interested in advetisments, I am using comskip to mark times of ads, which is normally working, as it should but produces an error when trying to...

@antidot, thank you for the Perl file. I think I was able to compile it with the DLLs included in the exe. My MediaPortal machine doesn't have Perl and it works fine there. The source exe I compiled and zipped passes Windows Defender scans, but it will probably still trigger antivirus warnings once downloaded from the internet. I...
