Lost in Space seems to be another anomaly, it's name gets shortened to just "LS" using UK settings, now I have got the DVD and it definitely uses it's full name, even on imdb.

Yup, they came up with a new term on IMDb site "(promotional abbreviation)", so added that to the list of terms to avoid titles from.

Thanks, well nothing stands still, but even from a promo point of view, never would have guessed LS meant that film

Yeah, there are a lot of those "Also Known As" entries that really should be removed or edited, but I don't have that power, so have to keep blacklisting the terms.

I think it was most likely a fake title used to distribute the film canisters to movie theaters and then added as promo title. I was actually already blackisting "(promotional title)", but due to the acronym nature of "LS", I guess some IMDb editor decided to add a new listing description.
