Yes it's seems to be timing related, so it can be normal (but it's not, we should be have this worked correctly @ 100%)

So i am about to give up....only option to ... maybe ... get 3D working again might be a reinstall of windows. I just don`t get what is wrong.
Right after/while playing a 2D file madvr switches off the stereo setting in the nvidia panel while 3D windows setting stays enabled. Next time i play a 3D video it will play in 2D because madvr does not or is not able to enable the nvidia stereo setting again which breaks 3D for me.

Somehow i got it working for a few times and i thought it would be the scaling of windows fonts while in 4K resolution but it seems thats not the issue.

I have no clue what broke it and what else to try at the moment... Moving the mouse by the way does not enable 3d mode for me.

Tried some videos, 4k and other, some TV zapping. It hasn't crashed since the one I reported above. Strange, but good sort of

When searching explanation for madVR code framestart, i have found a post in kodi forum : http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=154534&pid=1964715#pid1964715

So in 162, i comment out some part of new code (maybe the one that lead to crash randomly) and change setting in madVR and the flickering goes away too (but i need to keep some code).

So maybe HD4xxx Intel GPU can't handle much present frame in D3D buffer like Nvidia or AMD.

So best to try of course

For intel GPU, need to uncheck present several frames in advance, on my side 8 as buffer is ok but maybe we need to goes down the value on other Intel GPU.

On my side on, the switch seems ok (from windows control panel) but still we have issue with 3D !!!

Weird is i have no clue what happened besides changing the AVR and meanwhile the GPU to a GTX1080. But this is not part of the issue, even without the AVR connected its not working anymore.. well technically its still working as long as no 2D file is played inbetween

I can only imagine that something i cant see has changed in the deeeeeeep oceans of Windows 10 which prevents the windows switch from activating the stereo setting of nvidia.

Btw. does someone know how madvr triggers the change to 3D ? Does it only kind of switch 3D on in the windows advanced graphics setting ? How does this work on your computers ? What exactly happens when you start playing a 3D file ? Else i am wondering if the windows switch enabled is sufficient or if nvidia stereo has to be activated as well on your HTPC's?

I recognized as well that the windows switch is able to switch the "nvidia panel 3d" to off but if i turn it back on in windows settinggs nvdia still stays off... weird.

Probably i will save all my important stuff and reinstall this whole thing....

tv server needs to rescan the channels, maybe you have it already as radio stations

same advice as with alexdepalma mouse wiggle problems.
if you have a spare partition u can try a different fresh or clean os simultaneously, or use some backup soft like http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

funny that's the only thing i really miss (except consistend 3d stuff).
the famos minitvmode, pls bring it back (or allow it again) that nice little tv window.
