funny that's the only thing i really miss (except consistend 3d stuff).
the famos minitvmode, pls bring it back (or allow it again) that nice little tv window.

Thanks but i didn't follow you, what did you mean by minitvmode ?
In fact, MP shouldn't allow the resize (or it's madvr) after alt+enter and for sure on stop, GUI will not be present (black screen) because when doing alt+enter, it reset all the D3D stuff and then all needed backbuffer of device and lead to the famous blackscreen, this is why i disable it

Added V161 BIS (it has merged the latest WIP LiveMedia 555 and HEVC for TV Client and TVServer).

Hi I'm familier with the HEVC WIP (using it) but what is LiveMedia 555, I can't find anything much about it in the forum.

It's an update to the latest dev code, it's used for RTSP on Mediaportal and Tvserver.

So testing along madVR can give good feedback to confirm the merging to master like this madVR and all other branch can benefit of it

I was able to test in vacation by streaming some recordedTV over wifi, seems to be working ok

yea, i know
with minimode i mean that little window always on top mode... - see screens
no resize to windowed, means no way to enable it. i suspect
i simply switch to evr for tv to get it running again...

Just finished reinstalling the OS and reconfigured all my stuff... guess what: exactly the same issue again.
Hence it must be some kind of config error but i have no clue what setting is false

Got it!!!!!!!!!! Damn this is weird....well at least it was for me.
On the stereoscopic page in the Nvidia Panel there is an option that appears after the setup wizzard for stereo is done.
It´s called "test stereoscopic 3D picture" (this is not part of the wizzard before).
If you click on that tab there is an option to choose the resolution and 23 fps or 24 fps, afterwards you can start the testapplication and you will see a Nvidia Logo moving forth and back in 3D.
After clicking "ESC" the testapp is ended. Thats it......




I would have never thought of this beeing the issue, cause nowhere where i was reading stuff, was mentioned that this option even exists. Meanwhile i can remember that i did that before some weeks ago while i was setting up 3D the first time. But it was by chance at all that i clicked on this option last time and this time as well... I was just clicking on it because i wanted to know what it is

Maybe this helps as well with "mouse issue" even if its unlikely....

tried v162 a bit only with tv.
tv seems ok exept some issues if tv is playing on the main tvmenu.

the miniepg and all option osds dont pop up in front, the running tv window stays on top

edit: 2d video seem also ok, but mp tvseries acts a bit odd. movingpic seem ok, default video too
with mpseries plugin -sometimes series files dont start in fullscreen or they start right but i cant pause or else, if it acts odd i had to use x out and x back in to get the control again over the playing file

I will give v162 a go on Monday after the weekend peak viewing and test with DVBT2 full HD HEVC encoded German TV.

Question1:- Doi I still need to install the OV modified for madvr version on page 1 or is the std. version now OK?
Question 2:- Which TS Reader should I use? The one from the Owlsroost HEVC branch, the madvr one from page one or is there another included with the install???

I can confirm the issue for TVS, it seems we have a bug in MP (from comment on TVS code) so i have tested a fix on TVS and should be ok but didn't forward it to TVS dev for now
Will try to reproduce TV video window when back at home

1 - Yes needed OV change and surely other Video plugins, this is why when madVR branch goes to master, we need to make all plugins video not compatible to be sure to assure compatitbility.
2 - The one in madVR branch is the same as Owlsroost branch (keep in mind that installer didn't update .ax (a bug not related to madVR and need a fix for sure)

Added v163 link installer (Toggle screen WIP and trying to fix the issue for render OSD on top of video)
@daWooky can you test ?

The toggle screen is not perfect because i didn't succeed to getback osd on stop when D3D Device is resetted, need help from good dev
So it works but it didn't resize font etc.
I have another test to try to reset font (without D3D reset) maybe it's better but i'm not sure
