why it goes to 1080p30 ? the movie is 24p right ?

Yes the movie is 1080p24. With core 3d test bin it's strange - after playback starts TV switches to 1080p24, then immediately to 1080p30. After stopping Mediaportal tries to change refresh rate, but it switches to 1080p30 again for some reason. This is all with 'Force MP widows refresh rate (for 3D)' enabled. Otherwise it's the same old 1080p24 after playback of frame packed 3D stops, instead of 1080p60.

Also what I noticed is that on my system after playback starts (core 3d test bin) Mediaportal does not drop a lot of frames . It seems smoother. UI (progress bar etc though on both Ares and StreamedMP was not accessible once playback started in both 2D and 3D - no matter what settings or tweaks were selected.

can you try with watchdog and upload log here ?

Will try after work. Although I can't promise because my son might be born any moment - if that happens I will be busy

This is very weird, I did an upgrade install on top of std. 1.16pr on my desktop and the extra Weather Lite display was/is working both before and after the install, no problem. I did exactly the same thing on my HTPC, Weather Lite extra display working before the upgrade but totally gone after,. only able to get it again with a System restore back to the std. 1.16pr.

So hard to say and now i'm not sure if it's master build that break thing or madVR branch (like master was merged to it lol)

Sussed it, The Weather Lite display at the top of the screen which appears when its icon is at the front on the main GUI in the Default Wide HD skin now ONLY works when the Settings/Gui/Skin language is set to English(UK or USA), if anything else (just tried German and French) is selected NO display. This is true regardless of the Windows display language being used or what language was selected on MP install. Changing the skin language switches the display on and off on both my HPC and Desktop PC and is 100% reproducible for me.
As discussed previously this has happened since the released 1.16pr which still shows the display when the skin language is set to German.
I guess this might be considered a feature as the text is English but then much of the info. displayed when the plugin is selected is also English so it looks to me like a big fat bug.

I maybe knows what commit can create this regression !!!! so need to find it and create a revert to see if it's ok

Logs are uploaded for 3d test bin. First time I tried it actually worked as it should -> 1080p24 after playback started and then nicely to 1080p60 when stopped. The second attempt and few others wasn't successful - after playback started 1080p24, then 1080p30; when stopped switched to 1080p30 again.

Yes, with v289 the Weather Lite display is OK in English but disappears when skin language is Deutsch (Wetter Lite).
Don't revert too much though, with std 1.16pr autoplay is not working and continuous high render times with 4k.

The code were should be the culprit was already removed, so it's something else
But the idea of this code was to be able to fix the wrong setting in windows, let me screenshot you the ideal setting and you should be able to try

When i was hitting issue (was related for me about the time not displaying in 24H format, it was because the 'Digit grouping symbol' value was empty (so try to change or fill it with , or . and see if it changing something

From your log something is wrong (there is a lot of missing method lol) so will create a new installer and post it in first post and you should try this update and post a new log to see if all are in place, it can be the root of your issue lol.

Changing the Digit Grouping Symbol did nothing for me, with original setting (,) and the skin language in German, I have no additional display, see screenshot D1, I then changed it to a (.) see screenshot D2 but the display in MP was unchanged (missing), I then changed the skin language to English still with (.) and the additional info appeared, see screenshot E1 (no location set hence no data).
As far as I can tell the number/format settings are correct in Win 10 and do switch to reflect the display (Windows) language, i.e. will automatically go to (.) when German is selected. Changing them seems to have no bearing on the problem, I reckon it is a skin issue (I note that in recent Madvr branch versions the Default Wide HD skin now has working navigation sounds, so something has been changed, maybe more).
