Noticed that madVR didn't have a settings import/export option and even after some google-fu couldn't find any examples that archived this so decided to create 2 simple batch scripts.
Will post them on the Doom9 forum as well but there's a 5 day post delay after registration, anyways enjoy :)

// Creates settings.reg for automated or manual restore
    backup_settings.bat

// Restores from settings.reg file and clears any current settings
    restore_settings.bat

crash happens with kungfu panda 2.
I set things back to dxva copyback, but no change.
    Subtitles disabled, no change.

I have the feeling bad coded file is causing a full stop on playback. cant be sure. Theres no trigger visible in mad.log/ Attached are the logs.

Just to note, I have not seen this behaviour before.

I think i have found the same file as you (below is mediainfo to compare)

SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SEB.... for leaving you like this.
Last Thursday a thunderstorm went over my town. Knocked internet TV and phone out of the sockets..
It took the company to repair until late on sunday. (So I Fracking missed Formula 1 and Max Verstappen grrrrrrrr ) Until the repair, I only had mobile phone connection, but no login info for mediaportal forum :( :(..

No internet, TV is HORRIBLE !!!! I was forced to spend time with the family.. Play games with the kids, do all sorts of 'fun' activities together n'stuff ... :X3: Never again... HORRIBLE! :D :D

    on issue.
I just tested using MPC-HC. And yes, your right. The same behaviour using MPC=HC with MadVR..
Tested Mediaportal using EVR, same result.

Just a crap file. :( sorry for giving you such a hard time. :(

The other issue I bumped in. I havent seen it for a while. But I fear the cause might be in the same alley. So lets keep it like that.. :)
Until further notice, I consider this stable :)

    MadVR 91.11 is out.
I see native amd dxva in the list. is this nice and should we update or not? :)

    v0.91.11:
    * fixed: HDR metadata via Nvidia's private API was broken in 64bit
    * added workaround for driver bug in Nvidia's private HDR API
    * improved Windows 10 HDR metadata support
    * D3D11 windowed mode now supports 10bit, if "HDR and Advanced Color" is on
    * improved AMD native 10bit DXVA decoding; drivers are still broken, though
    * downscaling after doubling now uses relaxed AR only for NGU Sharp + Standard

Important fixes, so i would upgrade. I'm on Nvidia, and have been testing for a couple of days to figure out HDR was broken in madVR and this version fixes that. HDR works with either Fullscreen Exclusive Mode OFF (8bit mode) or you can leave it ON and have to use Nvidia driver between 376.xx and 380.xx.
