[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (6 Viewers)

on my systems when use madvr, deinterlacing setting in LAV are simply ignored and not applied, just if i activate deinterlacing in madvr i got tv deinterlaced (i suppose by internal deinterlacing madvr routines).

They are ignored if you do CUVID or DXVA decoding, but if you do software decoding, it WILL use the software deinterlace settings if you choose them. You can confirm this by looking at madVR stats, it will say deinterlacing off (upstream) for interlaced content, but the content is still being deinterlaced. Switch to a hardware decoder and that will change to 'on'. As I said, I think PQ is better than hardware decoding, but that might be my card.

thank you for the explanation, so no way to use HW deintalacing ? i love amd vector adaptative on my htpc....

Just use a hardware video decoder in the LAV settings and no software deinterlacing set, then you will get hw deinterlacing, sorry if I wasn't clear. It should be try to fix the GPU memory leak.
Not sure if it's related, but right now on my HTPC the TVGuide doesn't flicker.

i suspect an bad sleep method on previous patch. ( but using new Owlsroost Tsreader )
MP crashed just before it send my HTPC to sleep. i know that because my Minidisplay was always ON, and my HTPC was in standby.
But nothing in log, i have updated this morning to V48 binaries, so wait & see if this issue appear the next time.

i will update my setup with the installer V48 in case !

The sleep method has not changed and it is based on master, so no real clue right now
But if it happen again, i hope log can tell us what is wrong

I have tried out the V48 core on V41 setup and really had to try very hard before I got any kind of problem. TV, zapping, 3D, SD and HD all worked well, then just when I thought it was 100% I tried another 3D which started OK but then MP crashed while playing. Afer MP restart the same3D played OK. I then gave madvr FSE a try but again this mode just seems to be a performance hit for me (maybe an AMD graphics thing??), all OK except 3D, the same video as before crashed MP when I tried to resume from last position and same again after MP restart but did play OK when played from start. Logs for all the above are attached. My subjective gut feel says this be be the best yet, I will intall the full version (hopefully with OV suppor)t for a longer term test. (without FSE)

@Sebastii The V48 installer version does not seem to work with OV. For any long term testing I need to be able to run OV other wise will have to go back to V41. Any chance?
