Hi there,
Have you tried putting the source on your client (to rule out the server and network)?

Yeah, a couple of suggestions:
1. Disable IPv6 in the NIC properties.
2. Add the TV Server hostname to the hosts file on the client (link).
Hi,
I tried to connect my onboard NIC instead of the PCI one. I played 1 movie and it played without any frame drops. So I hope this is the solution.
Only drawback is, that the onboard NIC doesn't support WOL. And the pci NICdoes support WOL. So that means I have to get a switch, or a better PCI NIC (but which one is good without issues).

I'm planning to buy this card: INTEL PRO 1000CT PCI-E Adapter Desktop GbE Bulk
Is that a good choice?
Hi there,
Have you ruled out your switch/router? Try using a crossover cable between your server and client?
Have you tried disabling SMB2? (What is your Server?)
Have you done any network tests between the two devices? Dropped packets, CRC errors, latency issues?
Is there anyway you cn install MePo client on your server?

Rather than doing that, I concur with Jay_UK - install the MP client on the server and see if you get stutter viewing TV on the server. What program can I use to check for dropped packages etc?
