Hi,

we included a sample xml for the basichome in english only. You have to create your own with the Maya BasicHome Plugin.

Well, I think very different about this, because I know there are some thousands of users out there using PC only without connection to TV or using Tochscreens (yes, those become slowly but surely more and more). I also followed a lot of discussions about that theme and there is definitely a need for mouse support.
And unfortunately it´s not done with buying a remote, you also need a computer which supports at least X10.
I would like to see this really nice skin available and usable for all users

From day one this skin was intended for remote use only. Sorry.

Can anybody tell me how to change the xml files to get the mini epg / mini tv guide when viewing fullscreen TV and doing (ACTION_SELECT_ITEM)? Like it works in streamedmp and Aeon and others?

I think there will be a modified version of Maya with loads of fanart by our team in the near future.
So yes we will support fanart handler. As a matter of fact i am going to make use of it right away. Expect results in the next release (or so)

Already modded my install to incorporate fanart(handler 1.0) on basichome screens as well as music screens (although still a wip). If there's interest I have setup the fanart for my basichome in a seperate (import) file so it's a little bit easier to implement/tweak yourself, I could post the file.

Also working on some plugins such as smart playlist (a must have imo) and htpc info.

Another thing I thought would be nice is to have 5 day weather forecast when weather is selected. A bit of a pain to implement but surely doable.

p.s.

I moved the rss ticker because it was flickering (posx < 20 causes flicker). Modified the background with a rounded corner to make it look a little better I think.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you want to see the on screen channellist (which is named TVMiniGuide.xml) or the TV Guide (which is named DialogTvGuide.xml) ?

Thank you for a wonderful skin. Three major issues here:

1. Going to full screen tv and back turns the blue background color in the skin black. Only restart of MP solves it.
2. Basic home menu items are in english - even though Danish is selected in configuration.
3. Looks like the info service isn't working properly. Getting no graphics in weather section - instead just shows tags like #info.weather.... something.

This will definately be the skin I am gonna use once the initial hiccups are gone - thanks again!

It couldn't be better. Just moved to Windows 7, installed MP with the latest SVN and after that this great looking sckin!

Need some testing, but it looks and performs great on the first look!

I have put the background into the background of windows and used it also as the welcome screen... now that looks even better as a complete experience! (Goed bezig!)
