it's kind of intentional...in order to minimize the work in maintaining two skins, some concessions were made. Right now, for almost every xml file, i can edit the xml in either skin then copy the xml file to the other. The onup value is 13 because In bluetwo1280x720, going up from the top nav button takes you to the top bar. In mce1280x720 there is no topbar so the highlight disappears.

Its been that way since day one of the skin, and nobody has really noticed (or was bothered enough by it to post). But if there is enough demand for a change, i'll go back and change all of the xml affected. The trade off is that when a change is made, a file is added to the default set or an error is found, its going to take a little longer to do an update.

I saw that the xml was common with other skins with a topbar and can fully understand your intentions to keep them common.

I'm going to have to go back and look at this...you really should have to change almost every file...if you don't then i'm missing something somewhere. Because in bluetwo i want the top bar to be focused when you've gone up from the top nav button in every page with left nav buttons.

btw, you've probably already done this, but keep a backup copy of the changes you make. Otherwise the installer will over write them the next install. If this was the only skin i was doing, i would go and make the change....and i still may if there is a demand or i find a clever way of making it work properly in both skins.

I've not done it in every file but the ones with a long menu on the left where I frequently go to options at the bottom of the list.

i figured you had done a backup, threw that out there as much to remind others that do their own editing as anything else. Thanks for letting me know you've changed most of the files, if you didn't have to, then i screwed up somewhere.

New version uploaded this morning. Fixed a problem with dvr mpeg cut not working.

Yesterday I found another left-menu-not-working-in-some-views-issue. In My TV -> Recorded TV, if I select "View: List" I can't navigate anywhere with remote/keyboard. All I can do is press the View button again and toggle "View: Icons". (I think the other option's called Icons, not really sure.)

I'm not using your latest update of the skin, so I'm sorry if this is already fixed. If not, I hope it's possible to solve. Anyway, thanks for your work!

Honestly, it probably hasn't been...i'll take a look and update it today. Should be a quick fix.

EDIT: I was wrong, it wasn't a quick fix. MP didn't like the included file that controlled those lists, so i had to ditch it in that screen...and a couple of others. It's fixed, and i think i found where else there is a problem. But I might have caused errors in other screens. I won't know for sure until i have time to test it out some more. I also have to make the same change in 2 other skins....

I just tried your update, thanks for your quick response! I hate to sound like a jerk though, but the issue still kind of persists. If I select List under Recorded TV I can now navigate the left hand menu, but I can't go right to the actual recordings.

Apparently I'm the first to notice this, so it can't be that much of an issue to people. I'm in no hurry, so to me there's no rush getting this fixed. I understand you've got a lot to do, so take your time. Again, thanks!

no you are not being a jerk...i looked at it again and it isn't working. I probably messed something up copying things between 3 skins, but i need a little time to double check. I'll have to look at it again tonight since i have to head to work. I'll have something by tomorrow, (just because its ticking me off right now). On the bright side i noticed a lot of the check boxes are now off too for some reason....

Ok, this time i fixed it. Turns out in all the copying between skins, some code got mixed up. File has been uploaded to the server.
