Synopsis::
The MCE Remote stops working in MediaPortal after resume from hibernation and/or if unplugged and plugged back in. This issue is simple to reproduce.
1. Hibernate Windows while MediaPortal is running.
2. Turn the PC back on and the MCE remote stops working in MediaPortal.
3. Quit MediaPortal and then restart it and the MCE remote works OK.
or
1. Unplug the MCE remote and plug it back in to any port (I started with the original port) and the MCE remote stops working in MediaPortal.
2. Quit MediaPortal and then restart it and the MCE remote works OK.
After unplugging the MCE remote or resuming from Hiberate I get the following message in the log "MCE: MCE receiver has been unplugged".
After plugging the MCE remote back in or after resuming from Hibernation I expected to see a message in the log like "MCE: MCE remote enabled" but never got one.
I first noticed this bug when I was using "Play DVD" after resuming the PC from Hibernation. I found that I couldn't stop the DVD playback or use the "Back" button etc. The direction, OK, and volume (no OSD is displayed) buttons still work in MediaPortal but I think that XP is just passing those commands to MediaPortal and does the same for any other multimedia app.
