Me too!

About stability, i think MP is already stable enough to run a htpc. It just need some bug sorted out and some features added. This before thinking of fancy DX graphics.

I wonder what will come out first, a stable, working version of XBMC for Linux or Mediaportal 2.. It'll be interesting to compare the two. After installing Ubuntu Gutsy and compiling XBMC, it's really pretty nice. Seeing it run at 60 fps with smooth as silk animations was really impressive. The conversion to OpenGL seems to have worked pretty well.. Hopefully we see some similar stuff in Media Portal 2. Can't wait!

I hope that all the work going to MP 2 can be used on "classic" MP, or else the dev team will have a hard time trying to keep up with them!

P.D.: And I just started looking at the code, and trying to bring out a fix My first contribution with code, and it may not last much in there!
