2-0 The rumoured secret next version of MediaPortal
1-6-0 Period of time 'till MediaPortal 2.0 is released, 1 month and 6 days and 0 hours

I therefore predict MediaPortal 2.0 will be released at lunchtime on the 1st December 2007.

Of course, I have been known to be wrong before.

I reckon it will be the release candidate for December 1st and the stable release for Christmas day.

i guess he means something like my Panasonic 16:9 TV-Set does
it takes 20% of the left and 20% of the right parts from the 4:3 image and stretches these to make it fit 16:9
instead of strechting the whole 4:9 image to 16:9

so there is less deformation in the middle of the screen.

in fact it is more variable

something like the last 10% of the edges stretched more, the next (closer to the center) 10% stetched less and in fact the center 9:9 probably not deformed at all

it's like zoom mode 4 im MCE.

someone tried to add this zoom mode by himself (though it's not exactly the same)
