Instead of the two antennae on the subject's head how about a TV antennae? Could be modified to be hobbit-ish, with hairy feet, but not scary! Remember WAF is important!

That's probably a good point. I hadn't even thought of that but now that I look at it, it does look a LOT like it in my opinion. Shouldn't this be something to take into consideration?

The BlueTwo MSN style guys came development of the skin that became BlueTwo - the MSN Messenger icon was designed, then thought hey why not make little characters based off this guy? Don't know if the images are still on the forum, but you should be able to find the development.
