After the update from RC5 to RC6 I get an error when I start either Mediaportal or the config of Mediaportal.

The error says:
TV plugin and Mediaportal dont have the same version.
Please update the other component to the same version as the newer one.
Mediaportal version 1.0.10.0 TV plugin 1.0.9.0

Luckily i could restore it with system restore.

I will try to reproduce it tomorrow and post a log. (watching World Cup right now)

Please all logs (inlcuding the OldLogs folder since that contains the installer log)

I had the same problem than erik070 from RC4 -> RC5 and RC6-> RC7. I had to manually uninstall TVserver/client than redo the install of the new version.

Guys, if you encounter such issues then please create a proper bugreport.
And include the "OldLogs" folder which includes the installer logs.

Everything else does not help.

Problem with Tvserver loosing CAM

Since RC4 it happens quite often that I loose the CAM. I had to restart TVserver to get it back.
What I do: watch live tv, stop liveTV, watch a recorded channel, stop recorder channel, start liveTV then Channel is scrambled.

Here is my logs. after fresh install of RC6. I try to reproduce it again tonight but failed the 2nd time. So it happens frequently but not systematically or I missed something in my trigger actions.

Edit: Can someone move that message to the bug report forum

Please create a proper bugreport in the forum linked to in the news.

Also be aware that it could be a bug in the Firmware of your CAM.
Mascom i.e. has a big one in their current AlpaCrypt CAMs firmware, which cause the CAM firmware to crash frequently.
