Sorry ... Back again with Schedules Direct plugin issue after a long time working.

I'm currently making big changes in my hardware to upgrade from win10 to win11 (new compliant mobo; cpu; memory cards). I installed 1.36 x64 single seat/tvserver on a newly rebuilt backup machine on my network, so I can update my dedicated TVServer computer to win11 without interruption of TV on my living room client (except to to reassign my client to the backup TVServer).

I made sure files from the SD plugin mpe1 were saved in the appropriate folders. On starting the TVServer Configuration program, in the SD plugin, I have checked the Advanced Options/Debug Mode box, entered Username and Password in the configuration tab and checked the "Force full guide update on next TvService startup" box; stopped service and restarted. As I understand, Debug mode is supposed to create a couple files AFTER the guide is downloaded from SD. It appears that the function to the Force Update is not working. I've waited several hours and my guide has not filled, and the files are not generated. I have not waited to see if the normal 24 hr update cycle is working. The checkbox to force guide update does not uncheck after restart, as well. I've made several attempts to force the guide update.

I do have a functioning guide from my current dedicated TVServer (1.33 x86) until I get the backup system set up. My living room 1.35 x64 client has no problem with the 1.33 x86 TVServer (I've yet to update it to 1.36 x64).

I think I have done everything I can. Let me know if I'm missing something. Which files should I make available to help the investigation?

    Hello,

My 2 cents if you want someone really look at your problem :
First : Update ALL your client/server with latest MP version.
If possible, in X64; at the end, 32 bits will disapear.
    Just my POV... ;)

I do not disagree. It is my intention. Baby steps for me. I'm transitioning to 1.36 x64 bit one machine at a time. The backup machine is working independent, for now, from my living room client, to get the kinks of the transition out. The 1.35 x64 client and 1.33 x 86 TVServer do not currently effect the new single seat, nor are effected by it. Everything is working on the new machine ... all the plugins are accessing and playing all my media shares ... Schedules Direct guide updates are the last piece. My scheduled recordings (saved and restored from the 1.33 x86 TVServer) are recording properly, but there is no info such as program name, description, etc., shown; everything is listed as "Manual", in folders labelled "Manual"; the recordings play without issue for the correct scheduled time.

    Same for me.
The most important is the server.
Even if it's latest 1.36 X64, I'm with MySQL instead of mariadb.
Then, plenty of work for future (when available time) would be to restart from scratch and install a clean latest TVE X64 version...

Maybe Schedules Direct won't let you download your schedule to more that one machine at a time.
I had the TVServer 1.33 x86 version installed a few days ago and the folders copied over the install to make a clone of the TVServer on this machine. SD had no issues with it. I could download as many updates as I wish through my account.

As it was for me. This was a clean install of 1.36 x64 on this backup machine (with MySQL). I didn't see any other way around it. Everything is tackled except getting forced update from SD.

Sorry for adding onto this old thread. I did a search for my previous issues on this subject, and this is where it took me. I did learn something from the recommendations given then. So thanks for that.
