@breese are you sure that you have stopped MP1 TvServer before you tried?
Your log doesn't look this way:

As MP2 could start remoting, but you are able to open SetupTv this means to me that you connect to a running MP1 TvServer.

I can confirm the issue: there is another version check which I have not yet fixed. I'll look for a solution

Seems there is a version conflict between two instances of "Common.Utils.dll": If you remove this dll from the SlimTv.Service\Plugins subfolder, then it should work (at least it did here):

So after spending more time with the TV and SD, I would like to suggest 2 things
1-remove that dll from the Weekly
2-Put the fact that schedules direct plugin does work with MP2
Maybe it can also be used to test the new plugin manager I have been reading about?

I don't mean to be nit-picky, but [again] I think it is very important to be clear.
The SD plugin can work with TVE 3. It cannot work with TVE 3.5. MP has nothing to do with it.
So, you could say that "the SchedulesDirect plugin can be used with MP2 if you use Native TVE3 or MPExtended".
