Tried it first time today. Together with latest stopmod. Also i ve set DRC to change frequenzy for 23.976fps fo 23.976fps, insted of 24 before.
    ( It gives me a 23.972 frequenz. )

Picture is fluid as i never saw it before. Tested some difficult movies like ICE AGE 2 (intro), HDR1 (cam movement) , Monster INC. ( rollercoaster) and
Star Wars Intro. Great. LiveTV works good so far, too.

Have to try it some time for sure. But so far Thumps Up!!

For Nvidia & ATi you can set 23Hz for 23.976 and 24Hz for 24.000Hz so the best way would be to add them both (in case you have a 24Hz movie) ;)

Used the default setting before, so left 24, and just added 23.
Have to check if i can get closer to 23.976hz.

I'm getting heavy desync (as in "several seconds") when watching some of my Scrubs Episodes with dual language audio tracks (first track english, second german).
After switching the audio to to the second track, sync almost always gets lost after a couple of minutes. Doesn't seem to occur if I don't switch the language though and also works fine if not using MPAR at all. Is this a known issue?

A known issue and hopefully it will be completely fixed in the next test build.

    Hi,

1st off I would like to say am loving the work with MPAR!

I know I can set the delay in a reg setting which is awesome but a problem I am having is with A/V sync to my LG tv, it seems that I get different delays when processing the picture depending on reresh rate, about 283ms for 50hz, 100ms for 23.97 delay on 60hz there is no delay lol I have seen plenty of posts about this across the internet not only for lg tv.

Can we get audio delay per refresh rate? I can see this feature is about to be implimented on the xbox media program and thought this may be a relevant place to ask here as this is destined for hopefully 1.3.0, deals whith refresh rates for sync and also has an audio delay option so hoped that we could get this implimented here also?

It would be an excellent feature, at the moment I have to come out of mp and set audio delay in lav for what I am watching.

    Cheers, bob.

    Hi Tourettes,

    I have a request.
The audio delay is able to accept positive values only. I would like to be able to have negative values as well. This would solve my situation.
    Is this an easy fix?

    Thanks for your reply

Negative values are quite problematic when it comes to some DS filters. For example MS DVD navigator is keeping track and only sending few hundred ms of audio data ahead of the DS clock time. That could cause with ease buffer underrun situations in the renderer side.

    Hi Tourettes,
is it possible to only use MAR for music playback (just to get benefit of WASAPI)? I guess Wasapi is better than Asio?

As far as I remember MP's DirectShow based music player will just use Default DirectShow Audio Renderer. If you have working ASIO setup it wont get any better with WASAPI. They both have as good quality as the HW / audio drivers are able to archive (they both are ignoring OS audio mixer and feeding the audio directly to audio HW's drivers).
