Hi!

Do MediaPortal support basic management of recorded video (for example, removing commercials and so on?).
Is there DVD ripping support in MediaPortal?

DVD ripping not out of the box but it is possible. Skipping commercials out of recordings is also possible, almost out of the box, you only need comskip.
