MediaPortal Setup crashes with every SVN after Rev10035 (1 Viewer)

A log from a MediaPortal session is of no use when trying to find problems with Configuration.exe

BUT

If you suspect the plugin you mentioned, easiest way would be removing it to find out if that's causing it... Ever though about that?

Pardon me. I had the ECP2 Webservice still running as a service in the background (overlooked that before). Stopping this service and installing the SVN again fixed the problem.

Sorry for the trouble. At least I know how to post a bug properly now.

One additional note on this:

Usually that is enough, but you can code a plugin in a way (accidentially) that makes code crash when it gets touched. So disabling wouldn't always help for such problematic plugins. In doubt ALWAYS remove everything that does not come with original MediaPortal.

you just have to attach the exported zip file to the bugreport post.
