ATTN Devs,

Reference the Network ID problem,

Not as simple as that I'm affraid. Still getting errors.

No network ID on channel scan. DVB-S that is

Okay I can now see why the NID on the scan isn't working.

In the PATParser.cpp the following is commented out.

// info.NetworkId=sdtInfo.NetworkId;
// info.TransportId=sdtInfo.TransportId;

Just wondering whats the reason for these comments as there is no where else these values are set.

Would this explain why when I do a DVB-T scan I get no LCNs or EPG with this SVN?

Edit: Looks like that's a no. Just rescanned using DJBlu's TSWriter with that put back in and it still gives me LCNs of 10000 for all muxes with this SVN.

Logs are attached.

I only looked @ the DVB-S part m8 I'll take a look at the DVB-T

    Wicked mate. :D

    The only other thing I can think of causing it to give all LCNs as 10000 is the split NIT that was introduced last year. There was another recenct reshuffle and new channels introduce that could have changed things futher, i'm sure you've seen on DigitalSpy. :rolleyes:

    I am using MP for some time now (>2 years) and I must say the multiseat-situation is quite bad.
    I cannot say anything about singleseat, because I am using a dedicated server, but the hole rtsp-streaming seems to be a bad solution. I have used mythTV before and I must say that the streaming was much smoother and more stable than this.

    I just hope there will be a day where it is working (maybe you should think about something different than rtsp-streaming). Have a look at the mythTV streaming, maybe it could help.

    are you using ac3filter? I had the same problem / error messages and ambass told me to use ffdshow audio decoder instead - works fine now.
