Today MP refuses to initialize on my Vista x86 HTPC if it is not started with "Run as Administrator" option. I've granted permissions to group "users" on folders and files "%Program Files%\Team MediaPortal\*" and "%Program Data%\Team mediaportal\*" and removed checkmarks "read-only". I even reinstalled this SVN. Nothing happened.

Hello,

I have Problems watching TV: After a while, TV beginns stuttering and sometimes MP crashes!

In MediaPortal.log are a lot of Messages of

Try removing the IDE cable from the drive, maybe the drive is starting to fail appart? Also, are you using some CD-writing soft that could have installed own drivers?

Cosmetic issue

Cosmetic issue with B3Wide

Steps to reproduce:
-------------------------

1.) Enter fullscreen TV
2.) Press F9
3.) Press 1
4.) Move the cursor to the column of the channel names
5.) Select a channel by pressing ENTER

The name of the channel group is displayed among the EPG information.

The latter indicates weak reception.

I will turn back to a prvious Version and if the problem continous, I will check the satalite antena.

It's a SATA drive!

I just installed UDF Driver, but didn't had a problem with the SVN before.

Yep, this worked for me too! Thank u very much for helping! Now if I could get the Power Scheluder plugin working again it would be great! I really like the community here with the fast answers and the development.

Now it works! Had to remove PiipTV plugin, which doesn´t work!

False signatures (e.g. from Windows Defender - check the news) might have caused an alteration of your %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
Make sure it at least contains this:

127.0.0.1 localhost ::1 localhost

Without the IPv4 localhost you'll get those errors, are unable to launch setuptv.exe and will miss recordings!
Restart the system if your file was altered.

Hello All

After running RC3 for months i decided to update to 1.0 and the latest SVN. Most things are working just fine (with amazing channelchange times!), but i cant get the EPG to work.

In the EPG log i just see lots of lines like this:
[EPG Update thread]: TimeshiftingEpgGrabber: no channel found for networkid:0xFE00 transportid:0x3F2 serviceid:0xD2

Any ides what im doing wrong?

I think a rescan can fix your problem...

Unfortunently a rescan didnt help.

But after searching through the forum i found a solution. Apparently the channelscanner saves wrong networkids for all my channels. They have a networkid of 0 og 40 in the channeldatabase, but the real networkid (as reported but the EPG grabber) is 0xFE00/65024.

After changing it for all the channels i finally get my EPG
