There seems to be a issue with MP and MySQL setups, gibman has fixed this, its just waiting for him to release.

Not sure whether this may be related to any of the above problems, if you happen to be running MySQL.

I'm running MSSQL so could not be the cause of the hibernation/resume problem. RC2 non SVN works fine.

    Hi guys
Never posted here before so be kind

im having this problem since first svn on rc2

the problem is with the tv server

i enter tv and start it
then i try to enter fullscreen but that never happens
so i try to stop the timeshift but then it only starts over from where i began watching
escape to homescreen where the tv is still overlayed

i have recreated tvdatabase no differance (im using mysql)
    tried with bluetwo wide, monochrome
    with preload and without
    different codecs

    thx for your great effort

Did a reinstall and used mssql this time but my problems are the same :(

Since the last SVN when Hibernating my system overnight & the system needs to wake up again, MediaPortal does not start up (seems there is an issue with the TV service & powerscheduler possibly)

I am seeing the same problem also. In the log snippet below the system should wake up to record a show at 20:25. As nielk says, it seems that the system correctly wakes up but the TvServer does not re-init.

I'm using MSSQL and RC2 SVN 19843. It may not be important but I manually added the "preload" field to the Card table in the database before I could get the TvService to load - I did not use the updated tvlibrary.dll

I'll try and gather full logs tomorrow... it's late here!

    Cheers
    Mark

No "Sky News" FTA picture from Astra 19.2 with the latest builds, only sound.
Works fine with 19376 and older builds. Any idea why this happens?

@ Pic1 you can see the graph from any other channel except "Sky News"
@ Pic2 you can see the graph when "Sky News" playing.

This start happening from the next build of 19376. Nothing else changed to my system.

I really do appreciate it, if someone have a look on that.

    @gemx:
Probably this is the reason of the problem: Build 19524: Activated dynamic video pin handling to support faster zapping !!!

    Music Share Watcher issue

I have never been able to get the Music Share Watcher plugin to work properly and would like to use it as my 5000+ database of songs takes a while to rescan. When deleting a folder with an album, the database gets updated and the album is missing when viewing "albums" in MP. When I add a folder with an album, nothing gets updated, also nothing in the musicsharewatcher.log. When I go to "Share" view, browse to the album and start playing a song, switch back to "album" view, then I can see the new album.

I have tried using the plugin as well as disabling the plugin and using the musicsharewatcher.exe, both gives the same result. My share is locally on my HTPC.

I will attach the relevant logs. Any help will be appreciated as I would love to use this functionality to its full extent.

Thanks to all the Devs for such an amazing piece of open source software :D

stuttering and no sound at first start

    hello!

After starting from power-off mode (with automatic mp-start) I have no sound and the picure is in slow motion.
When I switch to another channel all works fine. It works also, when I finish MP and start it again.

unfortunally I can not upload the logs at the moment.

Does anybody have the same problem???

For me the preload of the Graphs does not work - the first channel tune is slow as ever - about 10-15 seconds - but preloading is turned on.

    ITV-HD not working

    Hi,
ITV-HD is still not working for me with this build. However I think I may have found the cause. If I switch back to an older TSReader.ax (from the 27-06-2008), then it works fine. I think this was the last build before the change to use dynamic pin handling and this change may be what is causing the problem with ITV-HD. I've posted a few more details on the thread discussing the problem
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/itv-hd-not-working-mp-1-0-0-0-rc2-42436/index4.html

Let me know if you need any more information or if I can test anything (Is there anyway to disable the dynamic pin handling with a current build?).

    Thanks

    Andy
