CAM limit not working

gibman has then done some changes, but when I now test the same test here it still does not work with this build.

The result is the same as described last time and it still only uses only 1 card here.

For me the preload of the Graphs does not work - the first channel tune is slow as ever - about 10-15 seconds - but preloading is turned on.

Just a wild guess. Are you sure that the codecs you specified in the settings are choosen? Verify this with graphedit by connecting to MP's graph. I had similar problems until I noticed that the codecs I sepcified were not used. In this case after the initial graph fails MP tries to build a different graph on the fly which altogether takes quite a long time.

As I said just a guess.

Hi,

No Programme Info CH 7 SD/HD, Brisbane, Australia, and can't change PowerSchedulerClientSetup timing, keeps
defaulting back to 5 minutes. This is with SVN 01-08-2008.

Reinstalled RC2, no problems with EPG.

Reinstalled MediaPortal-SVN-08-01-2008--19-31-Rev19843 and above EPG problem returns. Initially after installation I have a couple of programme entries for CH 7 SD/HD, then after those programme times have passed have blank enties for both Channels. However this time, the HD information has reappeared, but still no SD, strange.

The PowerSchedulerClientSetup problem still exists.

I just checked the user scenario once again.
And it seems to work ok on current SVN.

I followed the how to on this case;

My scenario is slightly different, and this is maybe where my problem still lies:

- I start timeshifting on SF1
- I then start recording the channel that I am watching (I have now 2 sessions on the same card, but showing the same channel; this is at least what the server-cofiguration program is showing me. The CAM is then probably not a problem as the same channel is used).
- I then change the the channel I watch from EPG (so one of the 2 sessions is changing the channel).
- The timeshift is then working on SF2 but the recording on SF1 stops working

In the log from previous entry you then see that the recording of SF1 and the new timeshift on SF2 are now both on my card 2. The recording has stopped working as soon as I changed timeshifting from SF1 to SF2.

update:

I did now test again. Here the part from serverlog, when I start timeshifting on SF2 (on SF1 I have timeshifting and a recording going on):

Strange Happenings

With twin tuner card, setup recordings on Nine HD and Ten Digital.

Active recordings screen shows this has occurred.

Then go into Channel selection and select Ten HD, different programme to Ten SD. System allows access to viewing this Channel even though both Tuners are being used.

Turn TV off and attempt same with ABC HD get the appropriate message.

Go into scheduled recordings to stop recordings and Nine HD only shows a Delete message.

Go into scheduled recordings to stop recordings and Ten Digital shows correct information.

Even after deleting both recordings Active Recordings screen still shows Nine HD recording.

Programmes screen does not support this, however red recording button still showing, top left of screen.

Only way to get rid of red button is to start another recording which then activates Stop record button. Activating this button then gets rid of the red recording in progress button.

On my HTPC using this type of process I was able to have the Active Recordings screen show that I had 4 active recordings with a three tuner setup, might have been able to have more if I kept going.

The system is a 2.6 Hyperthreading P4 CPU and 1 GB of ram running Windows XP, Service Pack 2. I have added SATA drives, an ASUS Nvidia GeForce 7600GS Graphics Card, an add on card that has two SATA connections and two E SATA connections, and a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme sound card, plus the Dvico FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4, green pcb card. Using MediaPortal 1.0 RC2, SVN 01-08-2008.
