Hello,
today MP does not start any TV anymore. It showed my only unknown error when i tried to start tv.
So is started tvserver configuration but my card exist only satellite configuration was wrong.
I fixed wrong satellites bust still unknown error.
No i tried a satellite scan, worked well, but still again unknown error.
Now my wive was a little impatient about not working TV, so i looked in tvserver error log and i saw a message "mysql database abort lock" and "database corruptions" where inside.

I don't know where it comes from (probably my little children played with the htpc and does not clean shutdown).
But the major problem is that there was no usable message and the system behaved normally, beside the unknown error.
Also there is no easy possibility to check and repair the database from gui.

I'm sorry that i forgot to save the logs but i was a little bit in hurry to convince my wive that MP is a great software and did a clean reinstall

I'm having this problem so now and than, the first time it costed me 2 days to solve it, now it'll take 10 seconds

create a batch file on your desktop and run it as an administrator (it'll check and repair your corrupted database so tuners, tv guide and tv is working again):

Radio EPG is considered in TV program search

If you use the search functionality in the TV plugin, the content from the EPG of radio channels is included as well.

Since there is no 'search' within the radio section, this is deliberate.

IMO, the radio section needs a fair bit of work to bring it in line with the TV section. However, since we are in feature freeze, this will not happen for 1.1.0.

Show Episode Info and Recording Folders

The following problems with the default skin found with TV Client/Guide/Show channel state in Mini Guide (on supp. skins))/Show episode info: set to Number + Title

1. Recorded TV is missing the scrolling effect and therefore the text from title+sub-title+recorded number rolls over on the date.

2. Date/time/length font seems to be smaller then the title (shouldn't it be same?)

3. With the episode number plus title the series folder is labeled incorrectly (should be just "Supernatural" and "The Simpsons" in my example). An attempt to open the series folder shows nothing inside. I can only see the folder contents when I disable to show the episode number plus title.

4. There is plenty of space on the appropriate the MP configuration window to show full text "On supported skins", no need to abbreviate to "supp.". Plus there is one extra closing bracket.

With regard to point (3) I also experience this on both the default skin and purevisionhd using SVN 1.0.4.23908.

I notice that if the first recording in a series does not contain episode title/number information in the database fields (a recording made by earler release of MP that did not contain these fields in database) then the folder contents will be displayed in my recordings. If the first recording fields are not empty than the folder contents are not displayed.

This powersheduler bug is still not fixed: 0001451: PC does not shutdown if only PS-Client Plugin ins configured to hibernate/standby the PC - MediaPortal Bugtracker
I'm still having the same issue in each SVN. Powersheduler server ignores the client in a singleseat installation. I thought a simple call from the PS client to the TV server to shut down/standby the PC would do the trick. Also, why is the TV-Server able to ignore all shutdown commands when outside of its time settings. Shouldn't those time settings only be when it controls the shutdown, with anything else (i.e. Windows) able to shut it down outside of those hours?
Sorry to be a pest about this, but it seems like a bug and I'm sure others have been having the same frustrations. Perhaps a proper bug submission might be appropriate? What do people think, because it is still not fixed/acknowledged?

It's a regression bug introduced in 1.1 beta.

Trying to play back MKV files with this SVN doesn't work. Most of the time it shows the first frame of the movie, but not always.

I can connect with Graphstudio and the graph looks ok to me, but I can only do this on the first file I play. If I press "stop" and select another file (or the same) there is no Graph to connect to.

I have attached logs and dump from Graphstudio. Some files play one time or twice, but with stutter, but then suddenly I get a "Unable to play: DTS 6CH 48000hz - Jumper 2007.mkv" even though I have just played the (stuttering as hell, but it played).

Playing back an MPEG2 file suddenly opens another DirectShow window. Sorry, but this SVN is even worse than the earlier

The Haali icon disappears ok from the tray.

The worst thing is, that I need to press "OK" twice when I want to watch a recording from TV (SD .ts-files). And moments ago MP just crashed on me. Going back to earlier SVN ASAP.

Well, tested all the issues mentioned above and have to say I can´t reproduce neither of them (Windows7 64Bit, SAF 4.00 Beta 19, EVR, PureVision skins). All runs fine here. I would suggest to review your installation?!

The issues that pilehave has noted were similar to my findings. I might have to try further with the SVN build of 1.1 but as I needed my HTPC to work all of the time I did go back to the 1.02 version which works perfectly fine.
With the 1.1 SVN I did find that mkv's which played perfectly fine with the 1.02 version would often show just the first frame or stutterer and stop or just remain black. Sometimes they would play if I pressed pause and then play again but would often continue with a stuttering effect.
I have Windows 7 x64 the latest SAF's as you have Catavolt.
To be able to help and support the development team I will need to install the SVN on another PC and try and reproduce those issues and then post logs, graphs etc.
Just a point Catavolt I did install your latest skin and found it looked exactly the same as it does with 1.02, I was expecting it to look a little different..?
