This is still valid, I have 2 others confirming the issue. The edge between a transparent and non-transparent area in PNG's creates a grey/blackish border. To test it, create a background same size and same color/pattern as the one used in the skin, and cut out parts with any image-editing software. Save and put the image on top of your background.
