i do have a problem since previous svn and also with this svn.
some of my recordings (30%) will not start, it keeps on crashibg MP

i already made all kind of changes to my settings but the same files keep on crashing.
i can play them fine with a standalone player

like I said in the 2009.11.06 thread, something is really wrong with the playback of recordings and no admin is responding to that comments, hope they do now.

We are trying to keep an eye on all threads and we answer first to the one we are able to reproduce here.

So please be patient and we will try to sort all issues.

    Simone

the OSD for changing channels seems to have changed quite a lot in recent SVNs but is not entirely working.

A few SVNs ago you get the details of the new channel and what program was on. Now you just get a the OSD showing the channel name and logo and start / end times.

Main issue is that it appears to be displaying start /end times from both old and new channels. Also they appear to not quite be inline so you get two times overlapping each other for the end time.

I would really like to see details of the program of the channel being changed to else this OSD is kind of useless. If it is to stay as is could you either fix or remove the times ??

    Edit:
Screenshots attached. I switched from BBC2 to ITV. First off the OSD appers with the current channel details and the new channel details appear but overlaid. Also just noticed that the logo displayed is the one from the existing channel not the new one

Same problem here since the "original" 1.1.0 Beta. It's an Buffer Overflow (BEX) Error on Windows 7. It's not easy to reproduce this error. Approx. every 4th Recording has this error. And if I have such a Recording, this error occurs every time I try to play this .ts file from within MePo, no matter if I try it on "My TV" or on "My Videos". MPC, WMP, VLC,... all plays those files without any issue.
To watch those Recordings I have to remux them to .mkv.

    Here's the Windows Error Report:

Please provide a sample TS file from such recording.

    Hi.
The smallest one I actually have is 2.2 GB...

First I had to figure out a method cutting this File without loosing the "special feature". ;)
I found a solution (Hex Dump from within ProjectX) so here is a 15 MB Sample that crashes MePo every time i try to play it.
