the x64, not sure if i tried the x86. Will try after the match ;) I do use Win7 x64 though...

x86 version is required as MP is 32 bit application.

When using the Cyberlink Powerdvd 9 mpeg codec the framerate is now half of what it used to be (a not so smooth 25fps vs. smooth 50 fps)

Sounds like DXVA is not enabled in the codec's settings.

    Hi.
I've tested this SVN now a bit on my Server - Client environment and I can confirm some issues other has posted here.
After playback a rercorded TV Show MP crashes everytime I press the "Stop" button.

    Logs attached.
If I watch those recordings via MyVideos all went well. This crash only happens if I watch those in MyTV.

When switching channels (Live- TV) between different cards (analogue to DVB-T and vice versa) MP crashes everytime too. Changing channels on the same card works.

Better late than never: A BIG :D to all the devs for their valuable work on MP for this SVN release. Here all is working fine without any of the problems reported above (singleseat on Win7 64-Bit with latest SAF).
Hope all of the devs (excluding tourettes, who seems to be online all the time ;)) have a peaceful christmas to charge their batteries so they may provide us with the final RC1 soon :D

    :D

tv is working fine. channel change seems to be a bit slower than before but it works.
i really like the new icons and i love the new "shift+1"/! screen. very nice.
Anyone who can explain it in detail ? In live tv i get 3 more or less flat lines, but when i play avi or mkv the yellow one jumps around pretty heavy (heavy spikes every 3-5 secs), but picture looks good.

I can confirm zapping do not work on RTSP. I'll have a look.

Sounds like DXVA is not enabled in the codec's settings.
Had the same thoughts, but settings indicate it's enabled...
    and just re-re-checked this,
    (graphedit reports yuy2 colorspace, where I usually have nv12 when it's hw-accelerated??)
any suggestions on how to check this or 'force' dvxa enabled??

Edit: Dvxa indeed is not enabled (despite the settings in the config),
using different players (wmp, powerdvd or vlc) let's Pdvd9 use dvxa without any trouble.
(used dfsmanager to make sure dvxa was set as enabled for the filter)

Also Win7 client still gives me grieve... TsReaderPlayer.GetInterfaces() fails.. reinstalled all c++ redists.. both x86 and 64..
    to no avail..

Edit: resetting the tv-server host helped, tv and streaming (vlc player) on the host itself worked fine before that though, bit odd?

This build seems not to be dropping discontinued frames and toggling the associated check box seems to have no effect.

I use the PDVD9 codec and it doesn't like having too many dodgy frames in a row and can either cause a crash or a continuous trashy picture. I usually have MP drop these frames and everything is fine but the current build won't drop them.

Thanks for all the great work!

Dynamic refresh rate changer giving the same problems as the last svn, video playback after it changes refresh rate to 24p is very choppy

also same bug as last build with the mpc-mpa audio for aac causing video stutters.

are developers aware of these bugs or does a special bug report need to be created? I posted full logs and troubleshooting in the last svn build and was talking to tourettes on irc about it
