After installing this SVN on two of my clients(Vista and Win7), I'm getting this message when I start MP or MP config.

TvPlugin and Mediaportal don't have tha same version.
Please update the older component to the same version as newer one.
MpConfig Version:1.0.4.24561
TvPlugin Version:1.0.4.23491

Have I missed something. Can't find TcPlugin as a separate installation file, and it doesen't seem that anyone else have this error. (or it might just be to late in the night for me)

The TV Sever component in the SVN release must also be installed in the clients to upgrade the TVPlugin.
TVSerer must of course also be upgraded - same version on clients and server required.

This build seems not to be dropping discontinued frames and toggling the associated check box seems to have no effect.

I use the PDVD9 codec and it doesn't like having too many dodgy frames in a row and can either cause a crash or a continuous trashy picture. I usually have MP drop these frames and everything is fine but the current build won't drop them.

Thanks for reporting. Actually I think Ambass did already see that the feature was broken on code side.

Dynamic refresh rate changer giving the same problems as the last svn, video playback after it changes refresh rate to 24p is very choppy

Schyte knows about the issue. And he's trying to figure out how to reproduce the issue properly.

also same bug as last build with the mpc-mpa audio for aac causing video stutters.

Sounds like an audio codec bug. Have you tried different audio codecs?

I am not sure since which SVN this is happening, but when resizing MP (drag the window bigger / smaller) when playing TV the MP screen turns black. Exiting MP is only solution. Also minimizing to taskbar and restoring has this effect.

I can see an error is logged in error.log

Hi,

using this SVN with DirectVobSub makes problems on videos with embedded subtitles, in not getting the OSD (shortcut "Y"). Additional subtitles (srt text file) won't appear using the "context menu" too!?! There I can just see the embedded ones. This was working before in the previous SVN. Furthermore movies with no embedded subtitles but only with a srt text file are working without any problems an the OSD shows up too!

I made a graph screenshot using one of the movies that won't show an OSD and no additionall subtitles (attached) and realized that movies that are working with an srt text files have a DirectVobSub filtern instead of the "0002" as you can see in the shot!?!


Anybody a clue??? Using the MPC-HC for Subtitles is no solution for me because they are not in sync on my system and after 1-2Minutes they are just flickering and disappearing

You cannot resize MP, whilst video is playing and never could, this is a limitation that MP2 overcomes when it is released, please stop any video playback and then resize and start video again.

That not true, at least until beta 1 you could resize MP. One of the SVN's after that broke it. The only thing that never worked is switching between window and fullscreen mode. I hope it can still work as before, because when i accidentally click too many times on MP it goes to minimized (or can this be disabled?) and then i lose my timeshiftbuffer.

EDIT: I did some more research: the last SVN i have that works is 24404. The following SVN i have is 24446, and that one does not work.

Solved it by myself, it was an faulty registered Matroska-Splitter! And :sorry: for the unnecassary Post!

Oh no, wrong clearance... had just forgotten to configure Matroska Splitter to Autoload VSFilter as far as I turn that on and VSFilter is loaded the before mentioned movies won't show osd and load srt subtitles.

I tried my very best to get this running. But whatever i did, i didn't get channel switching working (the "last frame from last channel freeze"-thing). After 2 complete reinstallations, i'm returning to 1.0.2 now. What a frustrating day. If it wasn't for this problem, 1.1 seems to be a pretty cool advancement. I'll keep an eye on the forum, but i should not try to beta-test... i dont have the patience for it
