    Any1 developing this?

Would be nice at sometime to add some clients in the home that is not as expensive as a complete pc client.

MP will install on anything that runs a Windows OS, if ATV2 can take Windows, then MP will work.

If ATV2 is an IOS device that can install apps like ipad or iphone maybe ipimp can do this, only thing I can think of.

At the risk of promoting the other camp, I think that XBMC can be installed on an AppleTV. Since this now has support for the MediaPortal TV server, this might be one way to get MediaPortal TV to your TV via an AppleTV.

XBMC running on an ATV2 will eventually do this, but requires a lot of work on the plugin side still. MP TV Server is the one that doesn't work very well so far. Can't remember if 4TR is better supported, but TV Headend is the one recommended for a Windows server. Haven't tried lately, could be fixed now.

I've got 5 MP clients, and 2 ATV2s running XBMC. So I remain hopeful. From what I can tell, there's no good way to just share the Recordings directory, either, without it mixing into all the movies in XBMC.

http://www.scintilla.utwente.nl/~marcelg/xbmc/mppvr-doc.html for XMBC support of MP TV Server documentation.
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=94905 for a really long thread on PVR support for the ATV2.

I don´t want to change completely to XBMC/APPLE TV 2, but the fact that it is very cheap and small compared to a pc client makes it perfect for our bedroom and chrildrens rooms, but I guess I just need to wait I can see it is on the "to do list" for next XBMC version and I hope it will work on the IOS device too.

Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Thanks guys. Ok, spent the (whole) weekend on this lol. First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy. It is actually a real shame as it does have potential and promises a lot (was great to have Kodi on my phone and be able to watch live/recordings...
