MediaSlayer - CD and DVD HD ripping tool (3 Viewers)

I have not downloaded the latest version here yet, but did i read this correctly that DVDDecrypter is not supported any more? if so, bummer. Get it set up and wroking great and now I have to go fiddle with it again. I use AnyDVDHD for my decrypting. I disable all the ripping programs detection and "correction" for the protection schemes. AnydvdHD supports CD, dvd, hd-dvd, blu-ray.

All i need is a command line ISO generator with this setup. It can be anything and (i think) I would be able to rip ANY disc.

ok, I did my first rip with the new setup (dvdfab, 1.0a) and I didn't see a progress bar. All I did was to download the latest MPI and install it. is there more to do to get a dvd rip progress bar???

I also just noticed that it didn't save the movie with the name I typed in with the virtual keyboard? It just used the title of the disc. so I have "main movie.iso", and "LSIEWDB.iso". I don't think this was the way it was working before the switch to dvd fab.

also, DVDFab makes me shut down AnyDVD HD before it will run. AnyDVD is the BEST decrypting software available. it is not free, but it is the best. it is fully supported by *******, and it does hd-dvd and blu-ray. (I am not affiliated with ******* at all, other than buying their product).

what is the possibility of adding support for something else besides dvdfab? I will research what that may be and do any and all testing for you if needed. I just really don't like dvdfab. They still claim HD and blu ray ripping with their software, but you go to the support forums, and that is not the case any longer. they advertise somehting that they can't do. they admit it, but still advertise it will do it.

and it says my .iso's are corrupt? going to try again and post logs.

Yes, version 1.0a is crap and never should been put out in first place. And there are more bugs than just what you found.

Reason for sifting to DVDFab was that DVD Decrypter didn't rip all DVDs and it is free. And for keeping code and features somehow manageable Decrypter support had to go. Use old version if this is not suitable.

You can also reauthor your DVD with DVDFab even in ISO file mode. This means that FBI etc. warnings can be skipped, just activate PathPlayer. Unselect on-the-fly decrypter setting and AnyDVD should remain running.

I have Lord of The Rings DVD1 and DVD2 and want to rip them in full disc mode, and like to get the select disc option when I select the movie...
could this be done?

Good - we are on the right track again!

For stacking you have to give file names which are recognised as stackable. And also you have to use dlls from first post. Stacking is not supported by default.

There is still one (at least) bug. Mpeg4 ripping is only 1 pass. I can not calculate to two

P.S. I did found a class that manages ISO writing in C#, so basically DVD43, AnyDVD etc. background decrypters can be supported. And it will be much easier to code also without messing with dialog items on external progs.

How does the plugin work for ripping DVD? I install plugin, configure as well with full disc DVD option, set driver letter, etc.
I insert DVD disk, i click on rip button but nothing! I used the 0.8 or 1.0b version, same result.
ps: in the configuration i did not mention mencoder exe because i don't need to compress in Mpeg4. I want only full disc ripping.
