If everything is working OK with the new dlls you can keep those.
What comes to this audio selection problem was that dialog ok where choosing track? I mean it was showing something like:
ac3 (5.1) language: en aid: 128.
ac3 (stereo) language: en aid: 129.
ac3 (stereo) language: en aid: 130.
It can be that dialog is not reseted even it is ordered in code and values are still appearing from IMDB progress dialog as being previous one. Strange, really strange. But we have a clue now what is happening.
Is that error coming for all movies or just Mission Impossible II?
Hi Manfred,
I was half through a post then had an idea which I'll come to.
First of all I had 2 more fail in the same way; Kangaroo Jack and The Thomas Crown Affair, but had slight success with Toy Story 2 and Clarkson Supercar Showdown (recognised as 2EDVD0228). I say slight success as Toy Story ended up with a 110Kb file and the 2EDVD0228 file was 3.20MB - obviously not full rips. Whilst doing the above the only dialogs I got were to do with the film name and selecting coverart.
However, I've just tried something slightly different; this when I inserted a DVD (MI2) I said yes to the dialog asking if I wanted to play it, I then stopped it playing and went to rip in MediaSlayer - this time I did get the dialog box about sound selection and I got the 3 that you said i.e.
ac3 (5.1) language: en aid: 128.
ac3 (stereo) language: en aid: 129.
ac3 (stereo) language: en aid: 130.
I've selected the ac3 (5.1) and so far no error, I'll let you know how I get on.
I've attached the log which was created with my other tests.
If there anything I should check just to make sure I've set MediaSlayer up properly please say.
Many thanks for your help.
