Good that you get it working with some version of DVDFab. I haven't tested with any other versions than listed in first post.

Will check what happens if movie is not found from IMDB. And in the last version virtual keyboard might be broken (do not change the movie name) - I have asked from devs some help.

For others who can't even start this plugin - sorry - out of ideas what can cause that.

first: great plugin. secound: thx for your feedback
well atm, it works for me. but i have a problem. after it is finished with ripping and i see the fiinshed message, if i press ok then, mediaportal is crashing.
mabye that depends on rc3. i dunno.
go on with your good work and i hope, you find the time to update this great plugin.

where are your problems?
ripping iso is working with the old version 4 something of fab.
with rc3, mp is crashing after the rip

haven t verifyied yet if it crashes also with rc2.
so Manfred: plse update your plugin that it is working correctly with rc3 if you find the time!

all others: look to my former thread and use the fab version i recommend as working.

I don't like DVD FAB. They misrepresent what there software can do on their website, admit it in the forums but REFUSE to change their site. False advertising. I have not had a good experience with their company and REFUSE to use ANY software that their company makes. Not just dvdefab, ANY.

i fully agree with this viewpoint.
i dunno if there is also a other method for ripping isos with media-slayer.
i only tried it with this fab tool.

There was a special version made that included a built in .iso ripper it is a few pages back, though. I had hoped it would continue to be used as a go forward. I used it with anydvdhd for decryption.

can you tel me exatcly wich version of mediaslayer that was?
i mean the version with the includet ripper?

but. you can also goe on use anydvd also with fab. only a thought
