Dude, I'm not bashing, just saying that the guy deserves some credit. It's only natural to compare the two, since they are somewhat similar. I like somethings better the way Mattsk and Spuck did it, like the installer and definately the way tv series looks and somethings are better handled by Pilehave.

He may deserve a sub-forum - but not on the basis of being "first".

I only meant he made a beautiful skin and should get equal credit.

Again have to say I prefer this of the 2 mediastream ports! Only thing I think is better in the other one is their Moving pictures with fanart more prominent. Would be nice to have filmstrip view without the cover appearing twice?

I don't like the fact that half of the strip is covered by movie info in StreamedMP, so personally I think Pilehaves is better. I think that Pilehave's skin should be listed in HOT skins by the way. I don't think it's fair that StreamedMP is listed and Mediastream isn't. He was the first one who brought his skin out and he should get more credit for it I think.

Being "First" doesnt mean anything, StreamedMP could have been released "first" if they had not created the installer, and spent so much time looking for bugs etc. It will be interesting to see what happens with 2 nearly identical skins.

Maybe a SubForum for MediaStream, with any MediaStream/MediaStream mods in there.

At least with two versions, there is less chance of the skin dying liek many have in the past!

Joining these two version would be great, both have pros and cons.

I am altering the TVseries xml, and buggered up the graphic that highlights what episode/season one is on. (I tried using the tvseries from the other mediastrem )

Anyone know what/where the code is for the blue highlight bar seen in pilehave's tvseries pic?

2) I added some more rows in the guide so I can see more channels, but how can I increase font size in the guide

The preview window is where it always have been, but I guess that adding more channels to the Guide moved it up and behind the preview...

Thx - Moved around the guide to account for the preview window. I just wanted a guide with 8 entries and am happy with everything now.
Also note that the TVOSD I had wasn't showing tvlogos until I changed the ID from 10 to 102.

I too like the 8 rows in the menu, but some of my channel names are rather long, and running over into the guide data. Could you modify this to make the channel name about 1.5 times the size it is now?

I currently use Monochrome, but I tried out Mediastream. Unfortunately, I had some stabilty issues. Therefore I switched back to Monochrome, but that installation was broken as well. Then I realized that both skins require the installation of a couple of the same plugins (e.g. extra menu.dll). I reloaded the Monochrome versions and now MP is stable again. Is there anyway to use these both skins at the same time, without having to recopy these plugins?

AgeOfPanic: Well I am using Aeon Wide and Monochrome at the same time with just one set of menu DLL's.
I dunno why you are experiencing this.

Fantastic! Worked like a charm...I had to bump it up to 250 to get it 'reasonable'...WAF likes to see the whole channel name...

One think I did notice...on the original if the channel name is too long it will just fade behind the guide. Is there a reason that the new one doesnt and runs over into the guide?

I uploaded a new improved version which should get rid of the problems there were with MP-TV Series and now supports mVids - Music Video Database.

The TV Guide now shows 8 lines.

I'll make some new screenshots and post them in the first post of this thread.
