hey guess i could really use your help.....my MP_tvseries just shows a blank screen....none of the logo's load....they worked fine with the other skins....what am i doing wrong?

I had a similar issue with MP-TV,did a bit of digging on this thread and found this:

Installing this version resolved my problem with no logo`s appearing.

With "logos" do you mean Dolby Digital, 16:9 etc? If they don't show up you should either update your TV-Series version (as Hades points out) or import the formatting rules and logo-rules found in the folder "Rules for MP-TV Series" in the skinpackage (zipped)

Okay this is nuts... Good news and bad.. It seems to be Last.fm that triggers it.. Otherwise everything works fine and funny enough it seems that this might be related to another problem I'm having where Last.fm crashes my vis engine...

So the good news is if I keep away from Last.fm, I seem to be fine. The bads news is that I love last.fm and RTV is not an easy guy to talk to and seems very reluctant to accept that his plugin is at fault .. I've passed the guy notes, logs and so on and sent a dozen posts.. In return I got about nine words.. So I don't know...

Description are messing up with Channel name.

When the text is starting to scroll, then you still can se original text stand in background.
So the text is no easy to read.

I just startet to use 4TR and I have found 2 smaler problems.
Hope you will fix them.

I never got 4TR working on my HTPC so I can't really test it out or even fix the bugs easily. What we CAN try is to iron them out together

Now, the first screenshot looks like TVMiniGuide.xml. In this guide, the shown text is controlled in the listcontrol with <id>35</id>.

Here you have 6 textadjustments, 2 for each of the 3 attributes:

	<textXOff>40</textXOff>
	<textYOff>28</textYOff>
	<textXOff2>940</textXOff2>
	<textYOff2>5</textYOff2>
	<textXOff3>60</textXOff3>
	<textYOff3>5</textYOff3>

I would start by changing the value of "textXOff2", testing how that affects the text-problem. "textXOff" controls the "on next" text that looks pretty much ok, so leave that alone.

The I would adjust the spincontrol (up/down arrow) by increasing "spinPosY" to say 585 or 590. Change the group spincontrol (id 36) to same value as the channel-spincontrol you just edited.

Hope you can figure it out...
