Just had a quick look. I think you can define an individual background in the xml as usual, or for a common background, just define it in the references.xml file.

Here is an early test frame. I'm really pairing down the screen clutter.. No basic homepage, no time/date (for now).

Glenn - First, I hope you never leave! I have enjoyed your artistic talent so very much! Secondly, please don't take this th ewrong way, but if you ever do decide to leave, is there a chance (however slim) of exporting your 3D work to a 3D opensource format? Like what Blender uses? The reason is that I would hate to see MePo die in the future. This same request really goes out to all of the artists who have provided skins to MediaPortal. It is always best to keep this project alive by keeping the source in some opensource format.

P.S. Glenn - Please understand I would rather have you stay around than having opensource of your work! I just wanted to add that in case I may not be clear to other people, I am pretty sure Glenn knows how I feel about his work and his ability.

I love blender. I have tried to get him in just for kicks and got pretty close in an hour of mucking about. Definitely something I'll do and post if I get the time.

I have posted a new build of MePo. The link is on the first post of this thread. It's pretty new so will have bugs/omissions. I have tried to do my best but don't have it running on a machine with a tuner card so can't be sure. Please message me with things you pick up.

I have no idea why the MePo for settings and mydreambox are not showing up. Is that the case for you all and if so, does anyone have any ideas as to why?

Glenn, did you make any changes from when you first released yhis skin?

I am asking, because the the first DL (on a test machine) worked OK, but whe I DL-ed it on my HTPC today I am having navigation issues in homescreen: When er "radio" is highlighted and I press [OK] - the above listing is selected (here: [settings]). In other words: what is highlighted and what is selected is not the same (selected = highlighted -1).

Did that make any sense?
