See attached. Note, though that I'm using XP SP3.

I've enabled PowerScheduler in TVServer and the PowerScheduler Client Plug-in in MediaPortal. Once the plug-in is enabled you can then configure it (as per MP2.jpg).

Note I've got iTunes in there to stop suspend as I use it for podcasts and don't want the machine to suspend half-way through a download.

I think I missed one of the most important ones.
Didn't select "Wake up server for various wakeup events", so didn't do the trick for me.
    Still need to check.
Now is recording, so doesn't hibernate.
Can hibernate afterwards, the in the middle of the night scheduled a recording, so should wake up ans suspend again.
If this all works, I know it is 100% all right.
    Will report tomorrow.

    My experience

    Hardware:
    780G Mobo w. onboard ATI HD3200 / AMD X2 4200+ CPU / 2GB RAM / HVR 2200

    Software:
    XP Pro SP2 / PDVD8 Ultra 1830 / Media Player Classic Home Cinema / Mediaportal RC2

    Drivers:
Only used the recommended drivers off the gigabyte.com website
Didn't use any drivers from ATI website.
However, I did go to the ATI website and installed the control centre from v8.3 so that i could change the overscan for my LCD TV.

    Experience:
MPC-HC plays 1080P mkv files with 0-3% cpu useage.
MP RC2 - Live H264 TV is 10-20% cpu useage.
Occasional video glitches with live TV. A couple of channels here in NZ don't work.

PS : Don't ever try XP + 780G Mobo + Latest Catalyst 8.7 Drivers ; because this will screwup your XP install.

Couldn't agree more with the Catalyst 8.7 comment.

It's the live TV glitches that get to me.

I'm fairly stable now with CoreAVC as the h.264 decoder. The only problems I'm currently having are MP Client sometimes losing control of the Hauppage remote on resume and, strangely, MP client stop playing a DivX video and minimizes itself!

TVServer is (so far) rock solid.

Perhaps someone can help me here. I've no sound via HDMI, when i switch on the TV after the PC or when i switch then to the HDMI Input. Then i've to reboot the PC to get Sound again. Anybody any ideas?

Now using catalyst 8.8. Can view all freeview channels with hardware acceleration (PDVD8 Ultra 2120), however i get the occasional endless loop of 0.5sec picture glitches on interlaced channels. Reverted back to CoreAVC until i get a 8600GT.

    Hi Kiwijunglist,

Do you still have this MB/CPU running?

I can not get it to play MPEG4 H.264 smooth playing?

Can you help with settings etc.?

    Thanks in advance.
