Mini Display Plugin (2 Viewers)

Thanks for the great work on the MiniDisply-Plugin! It works perfect for me as did the ExternalDisplay before.

I would like to customize my display (I already did some work a couple of months ago with the ExternalDisplay). Is there a list of all variables/parameter available for the different actions (like MyRaido, Last.fm, etc) what can be displayed with what commands (eg #play.current.artist)? I searched the forum and the portal but unfortunatly could not find anything.

Enter MP Config and set MP to open in window mode. Now enter the plugins and MiniDisplay, on the first screen there is a checkbox (bottom left) about opening a property browser - enable it.

Now when you open MP a dialog window will open displaying all fieldnames and properties as you navigate through your setup.

Thanks a lot - that was how I did it before. I was just hoping there was a (complete) list what would have made it easier.

I guess I am going to provide that list after I went through the process for future reference .

The trouble is, each plugin & skin will expose different data so any list will be personal to you.

e.g. BlueWide skin 'tells' MiniDisplay which option you are highlighting on the BasicHome screen - StreamedMP does not. (i.e. the display shows 'My TV, MY DVD, Weather, etc)

Would be very useful for the common plugins though !

My next question has nothing to do with new features but with bug-fixing!

In my Origen S16V the IrTRans VF210-Display sporadically hangs whe I scroll through EPG or play music and meanwhile scroll through the directory to search for the next music title to play. I can force this behaviour but can not 100% say when it hangs next. But it is very annoying when you just hear music and have either to reset your htpc to see something on display again or to turn on your TV, stop MP in windows task manager and restart it.

I already opened a thread about that problem in the german section but got no answer to this problem, please see: (log-Files are there)

Meanwhile I got the information from another user here, that this is a known problem and caused by a call to the lcd-hype driver - function sendText which sometimes hangs off or rather the function call to that functin doesn´t come back. My question is now if there is a way to write a native driver for that display and minidisplay or are all displays in minidisplay controlled by external drivers? Who can make such a driver? I just dont know who is the right contact person for that request, but what i already know is when i give this question to irtrans they will not feel responsible.

So can you tell me, if it is possible to get a solution for that problem? As you already said: MiniDisplay should work for everyone.

I've got an irTrans display in my Zalman HD160 case - my display also 'hangs' at random - would be great if this could be fixed!

I already put the dll from my actual irtrans-installation into the mp-lcd-driver-directory but it seems to be the same version (same size). As far as I know, the lcd-hype.dll comes from irtrans itself. But from their previous behavoir I don´t think they will rework the dll. I would be happy if i lie wrong here, but I don´t think so.

Is there any way to look at the #CurrentModuleID rather than Window in the display xml

Both MovingPictures and MyTVSeries have a status of PlayingVideo and a window of FullScreenVideo - I would like to have custom display dependant on what I'm watching.

e.g. Can I specify a display for module 9811 when PlayingVideo ?

Update:
I ran the latest setup of IRtrans-SW and copied the latest lcd-hype-driver into the lcd-driver folder of MP. Same thing, driver version is 22.04.08.

Where else can I get newer lcd-hype drivers for my IRTrans-display when not from the manufacturer itself?

Update:
I ran the latest setup of IRtrans-SW and copied the latest lcd-hype-driver into the lcd-driver folder of MP. Same thing, driver version is 22.04.08.

Was only an idea as updating those lcd-hype solved some problems months ago.
